Pony PJ's Hand made, one of a kind, pull-over horse sleazy style hoods. Each hood is made from Nylon-Lyrca stretch fabric. Repairs and alterations available.

Pull over hoods protect horse manes and braiding from being rubbed out. Quick drying lyrca stretch fabric can be worn under heavier winter wear as well. Hoods are individually hand-made and each one is unique as I primarily only make one hood from each piece of patterned fabric. There is a wide selection of solid colors available by special order. Fleece lined muzzle with 1-1/2" elastic and adjust

able hook & loop closures, 1-1/2" elastic across the chest for a snug fit and 2" elastic and adjustable hook & loop closures around the girth. Zippers can be added if requested. Sizes for x-large horses, ponies and miniatures can be custom made with individual measurements and fabric selection. Alterations, tear and zipper repairs available. Other horse apparel can also be made, such as sheets and matching tail bags.

I'm looking to get new material for more horse sleazy's. There are some good horse shows coming up this summer. Anyone have suggestions on whether to keep doing the fun prints, or do solid colors? I might have to go to an early show and see what people are using. Suggestions are welcome!

I'll be attending the horse show at the Raleigh hunt complex this weekend. I'm looking forward to a good show as I love watching all the competitors. I hope the weather cooperates but at least we'll be indoors for this event

If anyone is attending Martinganza at the end of the month, make sure you stop by my table and say Hi! I will have all new stock of sleazy's and tailbags too. I'm sewing up a storm on my new fabrics..The cats are having a blast playing in the piles scraps on the floor! I just hate it when they get a hold of my thread though. they pull it all around the room and create a booby-trap that you can't see until you're tangled in it! Rascals =)

I had a special order request for braid-in tail and mane bags. Guess I'll add a new line to the PJ's. I plan on attending Martinganza again this spring, so I'll try to have some sewn up and in stock for that show!

My table is covered with beautiful fabrics all cut into a horse hood shapes, piles of pieces set aside for tail bags and pounds of fabric scraps all over the floor. And still I have a whole shopping list of fabrics I want to order! Sewing is a sickness that can only be cured by spending time in an out of the way room, listening to the whir of the machine and a snoring dog!
