🖤🎃 THE HALLOWEEN HIJINX LITTER 🎃🖤
Born under the October moon — October 7, 2024

Two years ago today, Spook decided Halloween needed a little extra chaos… and delivered Boo, Binx, Salem & Punkin. 🐈‍⬛⚔️

Four little creatures of the night, born into the NordiC**ns clan and destined to bring their own particular brand of mischief to the world.

Today we raise our horns to Punkin — our handsome, mischievous boy. 🖤🍂

May your whiskers always be wild, your naps be long, and your reign over the cattery be legendary. 😈👑

Happy 2nd Birthday, Punkin! 🥳🖤

Skål to the Halloween Hijinx crew! 🍻🎃

⚔️🐉 THOR TURNS THREE! 🐉⚔️

Three years ago, the gods sent us a little thunderbolt. ⚡️

Thor was born to our beautiful Pixel, (sweetest girl but not cut out for motherhood), so his story took an unexpected turn. Just four days before his arrival, Momma Piper delivered the Rum Runners litter—and when little Thor needed a mother, Piper simply opened her heart and raised him as one of her own.

He grew up surrounded by siblings, warmth, milk, and a whole lot of Viking-sized love. ❤️

Three years later, that tiny thunderbolt has become a magnificent Maine C**n and forever one of our NordiC**ns legends.

Skål to three years!!🍻⚔️
May your coat grow long, your paws grow enormous, and your reign be mighty. 👑

Happy 3rd Birthday!!! 🖤⚡️

🍹⚔️ HAPPY 3RD BORN DAY, RUM RUNNERS! ⚔️🍹

Three years ago, Bumbu, Malibu & Bacardi came into this world and became my Rum Runner crew. 🍹🖤

Today, I celebrate my Queen Malibu 👑 and her handsome brother Bacardi(eumandi) while remembering their brother Bumbu(Roman) who will always be part of this crew and forever have a place in my heart. 🌈

Three Rum Runners.
Three unforgettable souls.
One crew, forever. ⚔️

May Roman run free among the stars, while Malibu and Eumandi continue ruling their little corner of Midgard. 🖤

Skål, my babies. Happy 3rd Born Day! 🍹⚔️🐾

The sun still rules the North — 97° today — but the wheel of the seasons keeps turning. 🌲

Around the homestead, things are taking shape. Projects are getting finished, new ones are beginning, and little by little, we’re building the place where our story will unfold.

And watching it all from their kingdom:

Max • Punkin • Cuda • Beyla • Malibu • Spook • Bryna

Seven souls. Seven stories. One North.

Summer isn’t done with us yet…
but when winter finally crosses the mountains, NordiC**ns will be ready. ⚔️🐾 **ns **nsSaga **nMagic

⚔️ WHERE THE SAGA BEGAN ⚔️

Four years ago today, August 18, 2022, Momma Piper gave me my very first babies — my Norse Deities litter. 🖤

Before NordiC**ns became what it is today, there were these babies.

And among them was my girl Beyla — who stayed and grew into one of the queens of the clan. 👑

Today we celebrate Beyla’s 4th birthday and the entire Norse Deities litter.

The first babies.
The first chapter.
The beginning of the saga.

⚔️ Hail Beyla. Hail the Norse Deities. ⚔️

Happy Birthday, my beautiful first babies! 🖤🐾 **ns **n

❄️ A New Daughter of the North ❄️

Four moons ago, the Norns turned their gaze upon NordiC**ns.

On April 16th, Spook brought forth a single daughter—a tiny life born against expectation, a singleton woven into the threads of fate in a way none of us had planned.

The birth was not easy.

But in the North, no life is left without answer.

Beyla listened.

Not to words—but to instinct older than words.

She came to the nest and became guardian. Then mother in every way that mattered.

When Spook could not give, Beyla gave.

When uncertainty touched the nest, Beyla held the line.

And from that weaving of instinct, endurance, and love—

Bryna remained.

From her first breath, she was fierce-eyed, curious, unyielding, and far too certain that the world was hers to explore. 😂

She arrived during a season when the North itself felt heavy, when we needed something small and bright to remind us that life continues even through difficulty.

And so she became that reminder.

Some lives are planned.

Some are chosen.

And some are placed into your hands by fate itself, whether you are ready or not.

Today, on her fourth moon, we name her properly:

NordiC**ns Queen Bee Bryna 🖤❄️

She will remain within the clan as a future queen of NordiC**ns, pending full health testing and DNA evaluation.

Her story is one of endurance.

A difficult birth.
A singleton thread in the loom.
A mother tested by circumstance.
And a second queen who answered what instinct demanded.

The saga of Queen Bee Bryna is only just beginning.

Welcome, little queen.

The North has already claimed you. 🖤❄️

⚔️ From one small family business to another… Skål, Smokey & Moo’s Treats! 🐾

At NordiC**ns, our little Viking clan takes treat testing very seriously, and Smokey & Moo’s Treats earned the seal of approval! Bryna and Barracuda wasted no time claiming the freeze-dried day-old quail like seasoned hunters, while the rest of the crew waited (im)patiently for their turn. 😹

We also picked up their sample box, and wow… what an incredible value! It’s packed with a huge variety of single-ingredient, unprocessed, species-appropriate treats that let our little lynxes enjoy food the way nature intended.

We love supporting fellow small businesses that truly care about quality, and this one definitely delivered.

“The Crunch. The Fur. The Flavor.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

If you’re looking to spoil your cats (or dogs!) with natural treats, go show Smokey & Moo’s Treats some love. May your treat jars stay full, your purrs be loud, and your hunts be successful! 🛡️🐾

🎉 Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful Spook! 🩶🐾

Today our sweet Spook celebrates her 4th birthday! It’s hard to believe four years have already gone by. She has grown into such a stunning, gentle girl with a personality that perfectly matches her beauty. Every day she reminds us why we fell in love with this amazing breed.

We’ve been a little quiet lately, and we owe everyone an apology. Life has been moving at full speed between the homestead, the cattery, work, and all the projects that seem to multiply overnight! We’ve missed sharing updates with all of you, but we’re still here, and we’ll be posting more as things settle down.

For now, we’re celebrating our silver queen. 🩶

Please join us in wishing Spook a very Happy 4th Birthday! 🎂🎉
