🐾 It’s Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Week! 🐾
Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the "multitasking magicians" who keep our clinic running smoothly! From the first friendly voice you hear on the phone to the warm smile that greets you at the door, our reception team is the heart of River Valley Veterinary Center.
They juggle busy schedules, comfort worried pet parents, and manage a thousand things at once—all with compassion and grace. We truly couldn't do what we do without them!

**Tiger has been adopted!! Thanks to everyone who shared our post or reached out about fostering. What a wonderful community we have!! Tiger has found his person and is happily ruling the roost as the only pet!❤️❤️**

Tiger has won our hearts, we’ve been trying so hard to find him a foster or adopter but sadly he is still here at our clinic as a boarder, but is not able to be here on Easter weekend. We’ve been trying our best to take care of him and give him lots of love, but it’s not the same as being in a home. Tiger is healthy, 100% house trained, loves to go for walks on leash, 11 years young, 13 pounds, and was the joy of his owner’s life. He thrives in a calm setting, likes adult and older kids who are gentle and kind, and would make such a wonderful companion for someone who needs a friend. Tiger also really likes men (which is sometimes not the case with small dogs.) He can be a little worried being around other animals he does not know, and he is trying his best to be brave while he waits for someone special to love him.

🐾 Meet Tiger🐾
We are helping one of our beloved, long-time patients, Tiger, find a new, loving home. Due to changes in their owner's health, this 11-year-old Min-Pin Mix is looking for a gentle spot to land.
Tiger is a sweet, friendly, cuddly boy who loves car rides, walks with his people and snuggling up to those he loves.
Tiger is up to date on vaccinations, perfectly house trained, neutered, and healthy! He is good with little dogs that respect his boundaries but not a fan of bigger dogs at all.
Tiger prefers a quieter home, and would love to spend his golden years with someone that would love to have an easy, loving, special boy in their life!

The best love is unconditional and comes with fur! ❤️ Treat your pets to extra cuddles, a long walk, or a special healthy treat tomorrow! We love caring for your cherished companions and would love to see a picture of your furry Valentine!!🐾
Just a few reminders as we celebrate love tomorrow….
From dark to milk, chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which are toxic to pets. Please keep the heart-shaped boxes on high counters!
Lilies are highly toxic to cats (even the pollen!), and roses can cause tummy trouble or thorny injuries. Stick to pet-safe blooms like Sunflowers or Gerbera Daisies.
Check those labels! Many sugar-free candies and gums contain Xylitol (birch sugar), which is extremely dangerous for dogs.
