Cool off for a cause at our ACC Lemonade & Pup Cup Fundraiser! 💛

A couple of our Animal Care and Control team will be at Centennial Park in Wenatchee TODAY from 10 AM – 2 PM, serving up delicious, ice-cold lemonade and pup cups by donation! 🍋🐶

Every sip, slurp and donation helps provide care and support for homeless, sick and vulnerable animals in our community. ❤️

🐾 Happy Tail! 🐾

We’ve adopted Butters as a kitten in November of 2025 to give our other cat a friend after learning that our dog only had months to live. He has turned out the be the sweetest, silliest, happiest cat who loves my kids and to zoom around the house after toys. We are so happy that he’s ours!

🐾📚 Learning About Dogs, One Wag at a Time! ❤️

Our Community Programs Coordinator, Ryan, and Volunteer Program Manager, Sakota, recently paid a visit to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Chelan Valley with a very special guest—Sakota’s dog, Nala! 🐶

During their visit, Ryan and Sakota taught the kids all about dog body language and how to safely and respectfully approach animals. It was a paws-itively great opportunity for the kids to learn how to better understand what our four-legged friends are communicating. 🐾

And Nala? She was absolutely loving her time in the spotlight! ❤️ She happily soaked up all the extra attention, pets, and affection, while the kids loved getting to meet such a laidback and affectionate pup.

A huge thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Chelan Valley for having us! We had such a wonderful time learning, connecting, and sharing some puppy love. 🐕💕

Meet Rosa! ❤️ This sweet girl recently went on a Doggie Date with local aspiring artist Kiera, who quickly fell in love with her adorable personality—and decided to capture it on canvas! 🥹🎨

Kiera not only spent the day giving Rosa some much-needed fun and enrichment, but she also created a beautiful portrait of her. And there’s an extra-special surprise… whoever adopts Rosa will receive the portrait as a donation from Kiera! 🖼️💕

We absolutely love seeing our shelter pups inspire creativity, connection, and community! If Rosa has stolen your heart, come meet her and see if she could be your perfect match. 🐶🏡

🩶 Say hello to Dolly 🎀

Dolly is a 2-month-old kitten with a soft white coat, beautiful gray patches, and the sweetest little pink nose you've ever seen. This gentle girl may be tiny, but she has a heart full of love to give.

Dolly is a sensitive kitten who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. She can be a little timid at first, but each day she grows a little braver and more confident. Having spent her early weeks in foster care with her siblings, Dolly loved having other kittens around to lean on. One by one, all of her siblings have found homes, and now it's Dolly's turn to find someone special.

Dolly has been diagnosed with a Grade 5 heart murmur, which means there is an underlying heart condition that will require further evaluation by a veterinary cardiologist. While her future medical needs are still being determined, Dolly deserves the chance to be loved and cherished in a home of her own while she continues her journey.

If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and are looking for a kitten who will reward your patience and kindness with unconditional love, Dolly may be the perfect match.

Goofy, gorgeous, and full of personality—Wookie is one handsome Husky who is ready to find his forever family! 🐺✨

With his long, flowing coat, striking eyes, and silly antics, Wookie is guaranteed to catch your attention. But it’s his fun-loving personality that will really steal your heart! ❤️

Like any true Husky, Wookie has a busy brain and a zest for life. He loves to explore, learn, and stay active. Hiking adventures, puzzle toys, training sessions, and interactive play are all right up his alley. 🧠🐾

Wookie is currently living it up in foster care, where he’s having a great time with his foster dog siblings! 🏡🐶 He’s looking for a family who understands the Husky lifestyle and is ready to give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, love, and adventure.
