UPDATE!

Sometimes when you know you know ❤️ Our foster family knew Rooster was going to fit right in and immediately fell in love. We are so happy Rooster has found his furever family!

One of our board members in the Tri-Cities area couldn’t say no to this little guy 🥺❤️ Most likely a lab mix. This young pup was found by some amazing samaritans today at a public park in the Kennewick area. Our board member brought him in to see if he was chipped. Unfortunately he was not, although one of the staff at Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care was so kind and fell in love with him and he volunteered to assist us in fostering 👏🏻

Meet Rooster 🐶 he is a soft loving puppy that melts everyone’s hearts 💕

More updates to come! For now, Rooster will get settled with his foster family.

To be clear, we are absolutely a CANINE rescue...

BUT... two of the Boardmembers have gone on a personal little "side quest" into kitty TNR territory to try to help the stray/feral cats at their company's shop. We're not asking for anything from our supporters, just thought it might be fun to share the adventures while we're on a break from the normal FindFinn content right now.

This morning, we thankfully caught the kitty who has been christened "Blackbeard" and will be taking her/him into the vet to receive whatever medical care is necessary, be spayed/neutered, and then s/he will be cared for inside until s/he is healed before being released again.

There is another young kitten that has been spotted that may not be completely feral that there is hope can be domesticated and become the office kitty but we'll have to catch him/her first and see how it goes.

Aren't new adventures fun! 🐱🐾🤷‍♀️

*UPDATE*
Tank met the most amazing family and instantly fell in love with them, their older dog and their little girl. They have a mature cat as well that has no problem letting him know where the boundaries are. He was so clearly at home with them, showing off his silly, goofy side right away. We hope to share some great updates on his adventures.

We cannot thank everyone who reached out, inquired and/or applied, or just supported our boy. He definitely felt the love 🥰

Tank, formerly Prince of the P(ea)-Pod, is unfortunately looking for his forever home again.💔 As sometimes happens, what seems like the perfect fit turns out to be not the right place for a pup. In Tank's case, he was left home alone with the family's brand new kitten and the kitten was killed. Based on Tank's previous (& current) exposure to cats in his foster home (where he is back living until a new forever family is found) and how gentle and respectful he is with them, we absolutely believe the kitten's death was an accident and Tank was probably trying to play but due to his size, caused the death. Still we would always caution owners against leaving any puppies alone and loose in the home with another animal but especially a young kitten.

As happy as Tank's foster is to have him back to love on, they know he needs his own family. If you have space in your heart and home for this loving, goofy giant, maybe without smaller cats though, please reach out to arrange a meet & greet. PM or email [email protected]

Tank's adoption fee is sponsored so adopters will only be responsible for the neuter deposit.

Please give our boy a chance to show what a good boy he really is and how much love he has to share 💚

*Taking a Break*

Now that our last litter has all found amazing homes we have made the decision to take a little break for the next few months. As a small rescue, we are also juggling multiple jobs/careers, parenthood and the rest of life in general, on top of all the rescue work we do. Sometimes, there just isn't enough to go around and we have to make the decision to step back and re-charge. We are not going anywhere and will be back soon, ready to accept a new 'Pod'. We just need some time to rest.

Thank you for your support; past, present and future. We couldn't do any part of this without it.

🐾*REHOME REQUEST*🐾

Frankie is a 5-7 year old gentleman looking for his new forever home. He is currently living with a foster family and has been great with other dogs and kids, and seems to be good with cats. He does bark at all the 'country noises' around their house, which makes it a little tough for their 7 month old to sleep, but otherwise, they say Frankie is a huge cuddle bug and loves to he loved on. While he may be good with the evening stroll, Frankie isn't one for a lot of adventures so if you've got a quiet corner of the world, with some room on the couch and on your lap, for this sweet man, please let us know!
