*Pending - Maple is quite popular! Thank you all for sharing her so much! She has several meetings scheduled for this weekend already so her family has asked us to pause accepting new applications until they get through this first round of meetings. We will update everyone after we hear how they go this weekend! 🤞💚🤞
*REHOME REQUEST*
Miss Maple (formerly Lila, from the L-Pod, one of our "German Chocolates" aka German short-hair/Chocolate lab mix) finds herself in need of a new home that better fits her needs. While her family loves her very, very much and has tried everything to avoid this situation, Maple's prey drive is just too strong to be a farm dog and they cannot lose anymore chickens or cats. As such, she cannot go to a home with either of those.
Maple is two years old now, spayed and up to date on all her shots.
She obeys commands such as sit, lay down, leave it, and come. She also is great on a leash, house trained and kennel trained. She also loves to run on a treadmill (video in comments!). She plays fetch, runs along side a four wheeler (not chasing). She stays in the unfenced yard too and doesn’t dig.
She currently lives with a very old cocker spaniel and gets along with him just fine, although she does play a little rougher than the old boy can handle at times.
The family has requested that adoption inquiries come through Finding Finnegan and, in lieu of a rehoming fee, they are asking for a $100 donation to be made to Finding Finnegan in Maple's name.
