Meet our newest tiny troublemaker. She was found solo on the road, probably because she took a tumble off mom's back while they were crossing.
Fun fact: opossums can raise up to 13 babies at a time, and when they get to be this size, they start exploring by clinging to mom's back for dear life. If you fall off, well, that's on you, kiddo. Can you imagine wrangling 13 tiny terrors at once? Those poor mama opossums. Luckily, this little lady was scooped up by a good Samaritan and brought to us. She's fitting in with the other four, even if she is a bit of a runt.
She will live out her tiny childhood eating some good food and getting nice and fat before release in late summer. Also yes she kept winking at me when I was trying to take her picture lol.
