PLEASE READ BEFORE INQUIRING:
OUR PUPPIES:
Our puppies are raised indoors and are part of our family. We allow supervised outdoor visits as they get older and all of them will be used to using puppy pads. They are dewormed a minimum of every two weeks and get a Neo-Par at 4 weeks and 1st shots and vet visit around 6 weeks. All our dogs come with registration papers and health records. BREEDING R
IGHTS VS PET ONLY:
We allow breeding rights but some puppies only need to be pets. We support small breeders because that is what we are. WAITING LISTS:
Those wishing to be on the list will be given first choice of available puppies according to their preference. We do not require a deposit to be on our list. If you claim a puppy no deposit will be requested until the puppy is 3 weeks old to make sure it is thriving. DESPOSITS:
We do require a deposit of $150.00 to reserve a puppy. The deposit is NON REFUNDABLE, with the exception if there is an issue with the puppy's health. Then you be refunded immediately. We accept deposit via PayPal (friends and family only), cash or check by mail or Wal-Mart cash to cash. PUPPY UPDATES:
Once you pick out your future lifetime friend, we will send you weekly pictures and videos so you can watch your puppy grow. If you want a live video chat we can do that as well. I figured out we can use Facebook for video calls. PUPPY PICK UPS:
All puppies will be paid in full before going to their new home. We will begin scheduling once puppies reach 6 weeks of age. We are busy and have a life so we want to be as accommodating as we can be. All pick ups will be done in a public place. We usually meet at the Dollar Store in Carney for everyone's safety. HEALTH GUARANTEE:
Due to the breed standard, Dachshunds have a predisposition to spinal/ back problems. We cannot provide a health guarantee against back/spinal issues, as so many factors outside of our control contribute to disk disease. However, we do everything in our power to breed dogs with excellent confirmation, and have not had disk disease present itself in any of our dogs. To prevent injury, we recommend keeping your dog at a healthy weight. Also take care that your dog does not jump to and from high places. We suggest pet stairs or ramps for access to beds, couches, ect. Another key factor in healthy spine development is avoiding spaying and neutering at a young age. Studies have shown early spay and neutering increases the risk of IVDD (disk disease) in Dachshunds. If at any age, your dog should pass away as a result of a fatal genetic flaw, you will receive a puppy of the same value at no cost from your choice of an upcoming litter. We require documentation from a licensed veterinarian showing the health problem was genetic/congenital, and directly resulted in the dog’s demise. REFUND POLICY:
We are committed to being responsible for our dogs health and safety through the course of their lives. Because of this, we require that any puppy from our program be returned ONLY to us if a family is no longer able/willing to keep them. This is without a doubt one of the most important and vital parts of our program. We never want a dog to end up in a shelter, euthanized, or in a home we have not screened to find a proper fit. This is to protect them and also to ensure they find the best new home possible. We do not offer full refunds due to training difficulties, life changes (new baby, moving, kids lost interest, current pets doesn't get along with new puppy, ect)
We will refund 1/2 the original price of the dog if it has been kept up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention and documentation is provided. If not, we require the dog to be returned to us with no refund, so that we may begin the process of providing the needed veterinary care, training, and select a home that is better suited for it. Understand that every time we take in any dog, whether a puppy that’s been gone 2 days, or a 2 year old, it must complete a 10 day quarantine to protect the other dogs in our program. Often, dogs are shaken by the transition and need behavioral training and time to adjust. This not only takes time, it also costs money. Especially if heartworms/neglect are involved. We encourage all families to take this into account when purchasing a puppy. Purchasing, raising, and training a dog are huge responsibilities. They are a living creature with needs, emotions, and their best interest matters above all else. PRICING:
Due to Facebook policy, all pricing must be discussed in private messages, text or phone calls. Our price range varies based on multiple factors but we are open about it and welcome questions. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. We love all our puppies and dogs like family. Thank you
