🐾Meet Cotton 🐾

The last kitten left looking for his forever home from his litter. His siblings all got homes, but he is the only one left waiting for his turn.

Cotton is a very handsome 12 week old male kitten who is still learning to be a kitten. Him and his siblings were found in a box in a parking lot scared for their lives! Luckily, they were brought in and we have cared for them ever since.

For more information, please call the hospital at 570-724-0700 or send a message on messenger!

Is Your Dog Getting Enough Mental Enrichment?

Physical exercise is important, but your dog's brain needs exercise too. 🧠🐶

Mental enrichment helps keep dogs engaged and can support their overall well-being. Simple activities like food puzzles, training sessions, sniffing games, or learning a new trick can provide valuable mental stimulation.

Every dog is different, so finding activities they enjoy is part of the fun.

If you have questions about your dog's behavior or overall wellness, our veterinary team is here to help. 🐾

🐾 Prescription Refill Reminder 🐾

When your pet needs a refill of their medication, please give us at least 24 hours’ advance notice.

This allows our team enough time to prepare and fill the prescription. Refills will not be able to be filled immediately while you wait going forward due to policy changes. We will contact you when your pet’s medication is ready for pickup.

Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly and allowing us to provide the best care for your pets! ❤️🐾

Could your dog be losing their hearing? 🐾

Hearing loss can happen gradually, making it easy to miss the early signs. Watch for changes like:

👂 Not responding to their name

😴 Sleeping more deeply than usual

😯 Startling easily when approached

🚪 Not reacting to familiar sounds like the doorbell or squeaky toys

🐕 Looking to other pets for cues

Some hearing changes are part of aging, while others may be related to underlying medical conditions. Early evaluation can help determine the cause and the best way to support your dog.

Not all pain looks the same. During Animal Pain Awareness Month, it's important to understand the difference between chronic and acute pain. Chronic pain is persistent and long-term, often caused by arthritis or ongoing conditions. Acute pain comes on suddenly and is usually linked to an injury. If your pet seems uncomfortable or isn't acting like themselves, a veterinary exam can help identify the cause and provide relief. 🐾💙
