AUGUST 18 IS ELECTION DAY
Being informed isn't the same as making change. Wellington is at a crossroads, and what happens in the next few years will determine whether our village stays what it was built to be.
Knowing that isn't enough. The only way KWG's community turns that awareness into real protection for our green space is by showing up to vote.
This election is bigger than it looks. The Primary includes both R and D candidates for PBC Commissioner, the same body that voted on Project Tango. Whoever wins that seat will help decide what gets built, what gets preserved, and whether Wellington's open land survives the next wave of development.
It's also the School Board election. Here's how that works. If one candidate gets 50% or more of the vote, they win outright. If no one hits 50%, the top two vote-getters go to a runoff in November.
THREE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT:
Vote by Mail
VBM must be requested before every election, even if you've requested one before. The deadline to request your ballot for the August 18 election is August 6.

Wellington's future is not decided by who cares the most. It is decided by who votes. Don't just care about this village. Show up and defend it.
