✨ 5 years of Banner Equine Sports Therapy ✨

5 years ago I took a chance and made my first trip to New York the week before the Hamptons. Never would I have believed that every summer since I would have the client base that allows me to spend summers in the North East and winters in Wellington, FL. 🌴

Go raibh míle maith agaibh! 💚 Thank you all so much! 💛 To Black Dog Farm for being my very first client, Wendy and Dave for inspiring me to take a career in Equine Sports bodywork and to all my friends and family (you all know who you are) who have supported me from the moment go! 💙

Starting a business is hard, it often seems impossible, the imposter syndrome is real and it rarely gets easier but, it’s still somehow, all worth it. 😅

I am so excited to see where the next 5 years will take me and Banner Equine Sports Therapy. I will never be able to thank my clients enough for the trust they put in me to work on their horses. From cross rails to 5* , each and every horse has made an impact and shaped my career!

Take the chance , chase the dream, you never know where you’ll go!

🌀 Power of PEMF 🌀

On May 15th 2026, a friend of mine broke her collar bone and scapula. Surgery was performed on the collar bone however post-surgery the scapula dislocated even more.

Enter PEMF and Red Light Infrared Therapy!

Following surgery and with clearance for additional therapies from her surgeon, daily Magnawave PEMF along with red light/infrared light therapy sessions were done and you can see the massive progression of healing in the X-Rays in just 4 weeks!

Last week she was cleared by her surgeon and back in the ring jumping clear just weeks after the accident when initially she was told it would be months before she could even sit on a horse!

Does PEMF make a difference and aid healing ?

The answer is yes!

Patience is key when working with horses!

We can see in this video that while massaging the pectoral muscle, I come across an area of discomfort. I immediately change my massage technique in order to make the horse more comfortable but also still addressing the area of concern that I have come across. By lessening the amount of pressure and changing the massage technique, we can see that the horse releases by yawning, licking and chewing and she no longer feels discomfort in the area that I am massaging.

As equine bodyworkers we often come across areas while treating horses that they are opposed to or, feel uncomfortable in. It is important that we take our time, read the body language of the horse and make the necessary changes in order to get the best out of the session.

What a WEF!

Massive congratulations to all of our clients this WEF! From the puddle jumpers to 5*, Pony Island to the Grand Hunter Ring, there has been so many milestones and achievements made by all!

Eternally grateful for the trust and faith everyone puts in me to help make your horses feel and preform their very B.E.S.T!
