The For Fluff Sake family is reaching out to the community today to support one of our own.
Many of you know Cait, one of our groomers, as a person who is always here helping you care for your furry companions. She spends her days making sure your dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in our care. Cait has dedicated years of her life to working with animals and treating every client’s pet like they’re part of her own family.
Now, Cait needs our help.
Her beloved dog Cora, who she has had since the day she was born, has recently been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that needs to be surgically removed. Cora is only 7 years old and otherwise a happy, healthy dog who still has so much life ahead of her.
Because of where the tumor is located near her rib, the surgery will likely be extensive and costly. Cait will receive the official estimate next week when Cora meets with the veterinarian performing the procedure, but it is expected to fall somewhere between $3,500–$8,000.
Anyone who knows Cait knows how much she loves animals and how deeply she cares for every dog that comes through our doors. Cora has been her constant companion since her birth and truly means the world to her.
We’re sharing Cait and Cora’s GoFundMe here in hopes that our wonderful community might be able to help give Cora the chance at a longer, healthy life.
