A little back ground on this horse, she had an injury over the winter the led to a severe absesse blow out, as the months carried on she refused to weight bare for long on her toe, and ultimately foundered. Removed the neurotic hoof wall at the toe, and laced the hoof for a cycle, and she still blew another absesse, so opted for a reversed wedged shoe and she seems to be more comfortable but still a ways to go. This horse doesn't like me nor does she like doing anything that I expect her hoof to do. This is an interesting case that I have the opportunity to work along side McKee Obie to get her straight.
