Culling a big shrimp pond is a little different than culling a tank!

We net around the edges first, then use feeding time to bring everyone together so we can catch and sort them. We usually do this while pulling orders or during regular pond maintenance. Any culls we find are separated, and the ones that aren’t going out with an order head over to our cull barrel.

Ocean Blues are BACK!

We got some new shrimp in!

Unboxing a new type of Sulawesi shrimp from Dan’s Fish and getting them settled in. For now, they’re hanging out with our mixed Orange Eye Neocaridina, and we’re excited to see how they do!

🔥🦐 Cleaning day in the greenhouse!

We’ve been putting in the work, cleaning out tubs, sorting shrimp, and making room for what’s next. It’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but it’s always satisfying seeing everything come together.
