Dr. James Yarbrough opened Wedowee Animal Hospital on July 17, 2023.

He obtained his DVM in 2016 and practiced at Twin Creeks Veterinary Services (Ashland) and Main Street Animal Hospital (Roanoke) before opening WAH, where he is now proud to serve home!

We want to reassure our community that, while the recent report by the Alabama Department of Public Health incorrectly identified Wedowee, AL as the location of the clinic having had a positive case of rabies, we have thankfully not recently been exposed to rabies.
