I have owned horses for 20 years and have learned Clinton Anderson's method and have had huge success with it. I have always shown horses and trained my own horses for a hobby since I was 10 years old and always had the dream to make a career of training horses and teaching others the knowledge I have gathered over the years. I was very excited to have Rebel Ranch partner with me and allow me to u

se their facility to train horses and offer lessons full time instead of just as a hobby. I have been working as a small animal Licensed Veterinary Technician for the past 13 years so I have a lot of veterinary knowledge as well. With Rebel Ranch allowing me to Train at their facility I was able to start my own horse training/lesson business. I am either buying training and reselling horses, having horses come in for training or I offer lessons as well. I use Clinton Anderson's method as the foundation of all my training and from there the horse's can be trained more toward their specialty. By teaching horses his entire Fundamentals series it gives a very solid foundation for any other training they may have done in the future. I have broke out 4 of my personal horses using his method and every single one of them never bucked when I got on them. I am very happy with the way my horses behave since they are well mannered and safe horses to be around. My mission with my business is:
"To provide safe, reliable horses with a strong foundation to the public and teach owners how to effectively communicate and build a trusting partnership with their horse." I am looking forward to being able to put my skills to work and offer more horses like these to the public. I'm also excited to teach what I have learned and help owners and their horses communicate better. What I have noticed over the years is not many people understand the horses psychiatry and how horses interpret the world much differently than we do as humans. I have been around the horse world my entire life and very rarely do I see people think about why horses react the way they do to certain things or why they are told to do certain things by their trainer. What opened my eyes and made significant difference in the results I was getting with my horses, was when I learned their psychiatry and being able to understand why they do the things they do and what to do to get the results you want by correctly interpreting what they are trying to tell you with their body language and being able to display my body language in a way they understand as well. By teaching owners horse psychiatry and how to affectively read horses body language as well as portray their own body language in a way horses understand, I hope to bring owners and their horses closer together and have a partnership and stay safe in the process.
