Barnett Performance Horses would like to thank the Capitol Area Quarter Horse Association for a wonderful show weekend. The show was laid back and fun, the facility was great, and it’s always exciting getting the chance to show somewhere new!

We only took one team down to show, and they came home with valuable lessons learned, great experience, and a few wins along the way.

🍭ARM CANDY & Elizabeth Thompson, we are so proud of you two and everything y’all accomplished together this weekend!

Only The Best Impulse

2025 gelding sired by The Best Principles and out of a Special Invitation mare.

Bentley is one special gelding! He has only been shown a handful of times and has already come home with some impressive wins. He is incredibly friendly, easygoing, and has a wonderful attitude. Nothing seems to bother him. With his sweet personality and willingness to please, he has all the makings of a great youth or amateur horse.

What a way to kick off the 2026 APHA World Show!

ONLY THE BEST IMPULSE was a rockstar in the Yearling In Hand Trail claiming 9th in the World competing against a great pen of horses.

A HUGE thanks to Faith Roberson for piloting him through a tough pattern. It was a beautiful run.

Next, watch for Reggie Barnett and “Bentley” in the Western Yearling Longe Line!
