Meet the midnight marauder who treated my basil plants like an all you can eat salad bar! 🌿🐀

Apparently, rats love basil’s tender, moisture-filled leaves and this little garden gangster didn’t leave a tip, a thank you note or even enough for a batch of Bruschetta!

Crime: Grand theft basil
Time: Sometime after dark Friday
Suspect: Pictured above
Status: Still at large and probably looking for the tomatoes!

Weatherford and Parker County are extremely dry, and with the hot, dry conditions expected this week and next, the risk of grass and wildfire is HIGH.

🚫 We are currently under a burn ban. Please do your part to help prevent a fire. Avoid anything that could create a spark or flame, and never burn during a burn ban.
