I have been seeing more and more posts with found dogs and their pictures have them wearing rabies tag. And I have realized not everyone that finds a dog wearing one, knows it can connect you back to the owner through the clinic! It’s not just a number! It’s unique to the clinic that issued the vaccine and the number is specific to that pet! So with the fireworks this weekend, if you find a runaway, maybe this will help get them back faster! And if you have a pet, put some form of identification on them now!

You must call the vet clinics number that is listed on its tag 🙂

We may not always be available for emergencies, but there is always someone who can look up a rabies tag and get back with you!
