Our neighbors in Palo Pinto County are facing a serious situation with the Ross Fire, and we’d like to help support the firefighters, first responders, displaced families, and animals affected.

Best Lil’ Dog House will be collecting needed supplies at the kennel. If you’d like to help, you can drop off any of the following:

* Bottled water
* Gatorade, Powerade, or other sports drinks
* Liquid IV or electrolyte drink packets
* Beef jerky or meat sticks
* Protein bars and granola bars
* Individually packaged snacks or crackers
* Pickles or pickle juice
* ChapStick / lip balm
* Baby wipes
* Eye drops
* Unopened dog food
* Unopened cat food

Please bring only new, unopened items where applicable.

We are also reaching out directly to area shelters to see where additional help may be needed, including temporary housing for displaced dogs and cats.

Needs may continue to change as the fire response continues, and we’ll share updates if additional items are requested.
