Vanhoozer friends-
We are happy to announce that we will continue the Vanhoozer horseman legacy by welcoming new boarders in 2023. After much thought, we have decided to make this page a memorial of Katelyn and her dedication and love to Vanhoozer Farm. Please follow us on our new page Vanhoozer Farm as we continue our journey in supporting Katelyn’s dream, we would love to have you there! 💙

Vanhoozer Friends-
We would like to start off by saying thank you for the overwhelming amount of love and support we have received over the past couple of days. To those who are unaware, Katelyn was involved in a serious car accident on Saturday evening and was evacuated via life flight to Fort Worth. Currently, Katelyn is in critical condition in ICU, but is surrounded by an amazing team of doctors who are doing everything in their power to help her. We have received numerous messages of how her friends and community can help- as for the farm, we have a great group of barn staff who have all chores and horses covered; regarding Katelyn- the best way to support her at this time is to speak life and continue praying over her. Several have asked about the show this Saturday and we have decided to postpone until further notice. Beginning next week we will have a top dressage trainer and instructor subbing for Katelyn while she heals. Please be patient as you will be contacted with particulars. Again, we cannot thank you enough for everyone’s thoughts, prayers, and efforts. Katelyn is loved by so many and we are going to do our best to keep you updated with information.

We are looking for scribes for our next dressage show, September 11th. Scribes write down the judge’s comments, so the judge can focus on watching the rider! This is a great chance to develop your eye, and get an inside take at what dressage judges are looking for. We will have a 2 hour scribe training the week prior to the show, which is tons of fun.
