Stormie is one week today and has doubled his weight, now weighing 10.6 oz. He is going to be one spoiled puppy by the time he is ready for his fur-ever home. Sophie is the best mama.

Stormie went yesterday to get his tail docked and dew claws removed. He is only a few days old but already stealing people’s hearts and crawling around.

So, Sophie surprised us with a puppy today. We thought there might be a chance she was pregnant because of how friendly she was being, but didn’t think she was that far along (she wasn’t that big). She was outside in the kennels with the other dogs today. When I got off work at 2, it was raining so I went out to bring all the dogs in. And here comes Sophie, running to the house with a puppy in her mouth. She ran straight under the porch. We ended up having to cut a hole in the porch floor to get her and the puppy out. Took her to the vet to see if she had any more puppies in there. Turns out it is just the one puppy.

Let me introduce her little boy, Stormie, weighing 5.1 oz.

So Eggbert (his new name is Fiyero) went to his new home yesterday. I’m so happy. He finally found his forever home, but I miss him laying next to me while I work. It sounds like he’s going to have his best life ever. I forgot to get pictures when I dropped him off, but I can’t wait to get updated pictures of him in the next few weeks.

Eggbert got a bath this morning. Getting him and all is stuff ready for his road trip tomorrow to go to his new family up in the Texas Panhandle. I’m so happy that we have found his fur-ever home but I will miss my little work buddy.

I am happy to say that Eggbert has found his fur-ever home!!! He will still be with me for a few more days. I will be delivering them to his new home in North Texas on Monday. Can’t wait for him to meet his new family in person.
