Help Us Keep Their Hope Alive: A Message from Robin Hillard of Broke N Beautiful Equine Rescue
Hello everyone,
My name is Robin Hillard, and I’m the co-founder of Broke N Beautiful Equine Rescue and Rehab, based in Weatherford, Texas. I’m writing to you today not only as a rescuer and caregiver but also as someone who’s deeply passionate about giving second chances to horses who have been neglected, abused, or forgotten.
For the past five years, my team and I have poured our hearts, souls, and personal finances into caring for these incredible animals. Right now, we are responsible for 18 equines — each with their own story of survival, healing, and hope.
We’ve never been in this for the recognition. We've done this work quietly, behind the scenes, often with very little support. But today, we are asking for your help.
Whether it’s monetary donations, feed, hay, tack, vet care, or even just sharing our story — every little bit matters. With rising costs and limited resources, we simply cannot continue to do this alone.
These horses rely on us — and now, we’re relying on you.
