UPDATE: ADOPTED!
RUBIX DIDN’T GET ADOPTED
Rubix has been everywhere.
We’ve taken him to the grand opening of the new bike park, he’s toured the Public Works department, and this Saturday he got to go to our adoption event at Tractor Supply.
He had been an absolute gentleman everywhere he’s gone.
But he hasn’t been adopted.
Maybe it’s because he is deaf. But you should know that doesn’t hold him back in any way.
Maybe it’s because he’s not the hyper type that begs for your attention.
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t love just as deeply. He was adopted once and returned, and he missed the adopters so much he stood at the front door of our lobby and wouldn’t move because he thought they would come back for him.
We had to carry him back to the kennel.
Rubix is a very special dog. Everyone loved him the moment he came into our shelter.
We know that Rubix’s person will find him. When they do, we know they will thank us years later. Happily showing us pictures of him, and raving about how he’s the best dog they ever had.
We know he’s that kind of dog. Don’t miss out on those memories. Don’t miss out on Rubix.
