💔🐾 Please Help Maddison 🐾💔

Meet Maddison.

This beautiful husky has the brightest blue eyes, the sweetest smile, and a heart full of love. Unfortunately, at such a young age, she's already facing more pain than any dog should ever have to endure.

Maddison recently suffered a severe injury, and after consulting with veterinarians, the best option for her quality of life is a leg amputation. While this is a difficult decision, it will give her the chance to live a happy, comfortable, and pain-free life.

The good news? Dogs are incredibly resilient. With the surgery and proper recovery, Maddison can still run, play, love, and enjoy life just like any other dog.

The challenge is the cost.

We need to raise $2,500 to cover Maddison's surgery and medical care. Every donation, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to the future she deserves.

Looking at her, you'd never know how much she's been through. Even while recovering, Maddison still greets everyone with a wagging tail, kisses, and that unforgettable husky smile. She isn't giving up—and neither are we.

If you can donate, share, or simply help spread the word, you will be making a direct difference in Maddison's life.

❤️ Let's give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves.

Goal: $2,500
🐾 Donations can be made through the shelter.
🐾 Please share to help us reach as many people as possible.

Thank you for supporting Maddison and helping her take her next steps toward a brighter future. ❤️

🐾❤️ OZ UPDATE ❤️🐾
Oz is still waiting for his forever family, but we wanted to share some exciting news about our favorite fluffy guy!
Oz is an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd who came to us carrying a few extra pounds. Since then, he's been working hard on becoming a healthier version of himself. He has been put on a special diet, and we're happy to report that he's doing great! He's also been getting out for regular walks and is walking very well on a leash.
This sweet boy is proving that it's never too late to make positive changes. While he still has some weight to lose, he's already making progress and feeling better every day.
The only thing missing from Oz's success story is a family of his own.
Oz dreams of having a home where he can continue his healthy lifestyle, enjoy daily walks, take plenty of naps, and soak up all the love he deserves. The shelter staff loves him, but what he really needs is a couch to call his own and people who will cheer him on as he reaches his goals.
He may be a little older and a little fluffier than most dogs, but Oz has a heart full of love and so much life left to live. He deserves a family that sees beyond the number on the scale and falls in love with the amazing dog underneath.
❤️ Help Oz have the "Hot Dog Summer" he's been working so hard for.
If you're interested in fostering or adopting Oz, please contact the shelter. Let's find this handsome boy the forever home he's been waiting for.

🐾🖤 Meet June! 🖤🐾
June is a handsome 3-year-old black cat who is looking for a new forever home after being surrendered when his owner had to move.
This sweet boy is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines, and ready to start his next chapter. June gets along well with both cats and dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many different types of families. He even walks on a leash, which is pretty impressive for a cat! 🐱🐾
June is a loving, friendly guy who is understandably a little confused about why he lost his home. Through no fault of his own, he found himself at the shelter and is hoping someone will give him a second chance at a forever family.
✨ June's adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, and all the love he has to give. ✨
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a sleek black coat and a big heart, June might be the perfect match for you. ❤️

86 Days!

86 days since Doobee was first brought into our shelter as a stray! 🐶

For 86 days, Doobee has tried out homes but sadly did not find the right fit! 🏠

86 days of slowly getting more and more somber and sad in his kennel. ☹️

We just know the perfect home is out there for Doobee! And we won’t stop trying until we find it for him! 👀

Doobee is our longest resident at the shelter! Doobee is completely potty trained! He absolutely loves sun bathing and playing in the water! He walks pretty well on lead but will pull when a smell catches his nose! 👃

He is “door darter” 🚪 which has been a reason for him to come back from his trial homes. We do believe that with some training and consistency, he will learn not to bolt every time the door opens.🤞

Doobee picks his dog pals! So if you have a pet in the home, our shelter would require a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along! 🐕 Doobee chases cats, so a home without a feline friend would be best for him! 🐈

‼️ Doobee is available for a 10 day trial! If you are interested in meeting Doobee and learning more about him, please feel free to stop by our shelter or give us a call!! ☎️

Doobee really is a phenomenal guy!! We just know he will bring much joy to his new home and family! 🤎

Found in Waynesville if this is your dog please contact the shelter at 573-774-6509 or message us on facebook!

🐾 Grimm is on trial!! 🐾

🐾💙 Meet Grimm 💙🐾

Grimm is a 5-year-old cream-colored Yorkie Poo with the sweetest face and an even sweeter personality. This handsome little guy is currently accepting applications for his forever home and is hoping his perfect family is out there waiting for him.
Grimm is neutered, up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, and ready to start his new life. Unfortunately, before he can truly feel his best, he has one big hurdle to overcome—a much-needed dental surgery.
Years of dental disease have left Grimm with painful teeth that need professional care. His dental procedure is going to be expensive, and we're working hard to raise the funds needed not only for Grimm, but also for his brother, Oro, who is facing the same challenge.
Despite everything, Grimm remains a loving little dog who deserves a future free from pain. We know there is a family out there who will see past his dental needs and fall in love with the wonderful companion he is.
If you'd like to help Grimm and Oro get the dental care they desperately need, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Every dollar brings these boys one step closer to comfort, health, and the happy lives they deserve.
❤️ To apply to adopt Grimm, please contact the shelter or send us a message.
🐶 Help us give Grimm and Oro something to smile about.

🐾 Cocoa is on trial!! 🐾

Cocoa 🤎

Cocoa is a 1.5 Year Old Pug/Chihuahua Mix 🐶

Cocoa came to our shelter due to no fault of his own as his owner was unable to properly care for him! 💔

Cocoa is definitely a sensitive fella! He enjoys a nice, gentle meeting before he snuggles up on your lap. 🥰

Cocoa loves other dogs! He definitely has a playful spirit about him! Cocoa does well going potty outside but sometimes he does have accidents. ☀️

Cocoa is currently at the vet getting neutered. Come tomorrow, he will be available to head out on a 10 day trial! ✨

If you are interested in learning more about Cocoa, please feel free to stop into the shelter or give us a call!

🐩 Meet Obi 🐩
At just 3 years old and a tiny 8.2 pounds, Obi is a handsome Miniature Poodle with a gentle heart who is searching for a family to call his own.

Obi is very shy and takes a little time to warm up to new people and new situations. The shelter can be a scary place for a sensitive little guy, and he'd much rather be curled up in a cozy home with someone who understands that trust takes time.

One thing that helps Obi feel more confident? Other dogs! He enjoys the company of canine friends and would likely love a home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes and remind him that everything is okay.

This sweet boy is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and ready to start the next chapter of his life. All he needs is a patient family willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.
Sometimes the quietest dogs have the biggest hearts. ❤️ Obi may not be the first one to run up and ask for attention, but with a little love and patience, we know he'll become someone's loyal best friend.
We are currently accepting applications for Obi. If you're looking for a sweet companion and have room in your heart for a shy little soul, Obi would love the chance to meet you.
🐾 Give Obi the forever home he's been waiting for.

🌭 Meet Oz – The Aussie Who Missed the Memo About Bikini Season 🌭

Oz has a confession to make…

Somewhere along the way, he got a little too enthusiastic about snacks and a little less enthusiastic about cardio. Now this sweet 8-year-old Australian Shepherd is carrying around about 15 extra pounds, and while he still feels like a young dog in his heart, his body is begging him for a fresh start.

Oz doesn’t know he’s overweight. He still gets excited for adventures. He still wants to follow you around the house. He still dreams of running and playing like the younger dogs. But every extra pound makes it a little harder.

This summer, Oz deserves his “hot dog summer.”

Not the kind with extra hot dogs… the kind where he gets healthy, feels good, and discovers that life can be so much bigger than the food bowl.

We’re looking for a foster-to-adopt home willing to help this handsome guy on his weight-loss journey. He needs someone who will take him on walks, help him make better choices, celebrate every pound lost, and remind him every day that he is worth the effort.

Oz isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for someone who sees beyond the extra fluff and notices the sweet, loving soul underneath.

At 8 years old, he should be spending his golden years curled up beside someone who loves him—not waiting in a shelter kennel wondering if anyone will give him a chance.

Please help us give Oz the summer he deserves.

Because every dog deserves to feel good in their own skin… even if that skin is currently stretched over a few too many treats. ❤️

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Oz, please contact us. Let’s help this sweet boy trade his snack goals for life goals.
