BARKTHOLEMEW DIDN’T GET ADOPTED

Barktholemew is an enigma.

He is one of the best dogs in the shelter. He is so good in fact, that we use him as our tester dog with other dogs. He is one of the first dogs that new volunteers get to walk. If we need a dog to go to a public appearance, he is always the first choice.

And yet he hasn’t been adopted.

None of us can figure it out.

He came really close to getting adopted Saturday at our event, but in the end Beth had to bring him back to the shelter…again.

Come meet Barktholemew. Tell your friends and family about him. Help us find his adopters.

He is too good a dog to have been here as long as he has.

A good hound will change your life.

Come change his.

What can we say about Tippy... this sweet and intelligent boy keeps us constantly entertained with his antics! Whether he is chasing a feather toy or playing in a cat tree, he is sure to brighten your day! He was born in a loving foster home, and celebrated his first birthday at FUR two months ago. He hopes he will celebrate his second birthday in a forever home.

UPDATE: ADOPTED!

ADOPT ME: BEAR

Maybe you can tell from this picture that Bear doesn’t want to be here.

We were a little worried about him when he first came in because he did not want to be here and let us know it.

He has warmed up to a select few of the staff members here, but doesn’t love everyone yet.

And that’s what you need to know about Bear. He is a cute little guy, but he’s not for everyone.

We recommend Bear to a home with no small children, and a patient but firm adult.

Come meet him if you want a grumpy little man that only likes you.
