Zero is here for a short bit, but we have lots to work on! First things first is his collar reactivity, anytime the owners attempt to put a collar on, Gus becomes submissive and screams. Here I’m working on changing that experience using treats and switching between two types of collars and leashes, with the goal of preventing him from going into that mindset and creating a better experience! The key is baby steps, but today’s goal was just being able to touch him without him becoming reactive.

Gus is forever gonna be a nut head, but using play to teach commands and set boundaries is gonna go a long way for him! I’m always looking for new training methods to improve the dogs and play has definitely been paying off for all the dogs!

Lady training is going great, she came to me super crazy, typical young golden retriever mentality and I’m proud of how far she’s come. She’ll go home Thursday with her newly educated owners!

Stuck in her stubborn ways, Rowan is wrapping up the 8 Day Board and Train program and doing great! She liked to use her weight to pull her owners where she wanted to go and needed a solid foundation before going out to stores!

‼️ Good News and Bad News ‼️

Business has been super busy and I appreciate all of my clients, but unfortunately I am booked out into fall. I understand some clients need training sooner, but overwhelming myself with dogs leads to poorly trained dogs.

If you’ve trained with me, you know I have the highest expectations for every dog and aim to bring the best out of every dog I train, to achieve this, I train only a certain number of dogs at a time.

I hope to expand my services to accompany more dogs, but now’s just not the right time. For those I’ve turned away, I hope you understand and feel free to contact me with any issues you’re having, I’m more than willing to help out as much as I can!
