Meet Ruby!
This Beautiful girl came to us after her owner was no longer able to care for her. Ruby is hoping she find her furever family soon!
While she has been in our care, Ruby has really enjoyed hanging out with staff. One of her favorite things to do is explore, she loves going on long walks. Ruby has been very good with her leash manners and people manners. This smart girl knows words like “sit”, “down”, and “stay”. Ruby can be selective about her dog friends, but meet and greets are required. She is kid friendly and wouldn’t mind having siblings. Ruby will need a cat free home. We have a happy home update from Pangur Ban, previously known as Alaska!
His new name means chubby kitty in Irish and he enjoys living up to the name. This sweet boy loves when his furever family gives him love, just as long as it’s on his terms.His furever family couldn’t be happier with their sassy cat!🐱 ❤️

Meet Mia! 🪷
This adorable girl is hoping to find her furever home!
Mia loves getting her belly rubbed and giving you lots of chin kisses. She walks very good on a leash, and she has good people manners. Mia knows words like "sit", "down", and " kiss". She is dog friendly, but meet and greets are required. Mia isn't a fan of feline friends, so she would need a home without them. She originally came to us as part of a humane case in 2023, so this sweet girl is looking for her furever home! Mia would do best in a home with children 3 years and up. Happy Friday!! 🐾
We have a very happy home update from Princess, previously known as Oona! This sweet girl is loving her life in her furever home! She took no time settling herself right at home, she loves stretching out and napping on whatever she can. Her furever family couldn't be happier to have her! ❤️🐱

NEW THIS YEAR: we will have 2 separate categories. 1 category is for all the dogs and the second category will be "No Dogs Allowed" for all our feline, feathered, barnyard, and scaled friends

🌸Meet Pippin!🌸
This sweet girl came to us when staff found her in the play yard. Pippin doesn't let that stop her, she is searching for her furever family!
Pippin hasn't been with us very long, but this girl loves to play! One of her favorite toys to play with are small squeaky toys. This energetic girl is working on her leash manners and people manners, but she will still need some help in her home. If you think this playful girl might be the girl for you, you can put in an application today!

Thursday Thank You!
We wanted to give a big thank you to Mack and all of his wonderful friends!
Mack was a 5 year old Great Dane who loved all animals, big and small.
Mack was a runner up for the Ales for Tails contest and a mascot for PA Bass Nation!
Unfortunately Mack was only 4 1/2 years old when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. Before he crossed the rainbow bridge, Mack and his furever family talked about what they could do in his honor. Mack chose a fundraiser for all the furry friends still searching for their home.
Mack's family and all of his friends donated so many amazing items to the shelter to help make these furry friends feel some love too!
Thank you so much to Mack's family and all of his friends! 🐾❤️

Moo Moo and Lizzy have an urgent supply request this week, we are fully out of pellet litter and almost out of adult cat chow.
We are currently running low on other items we use daily like;
- Trash bags
- Odoban
- Puppy food
- Dish soap
