We are a private, non-profit, no-kill 501c3 animal shelter serving Southern Franklin County since 1973. We receive no funding from state or local government for all the necessary services we provide, so we rely exclusively on donations from our generous supporters. For 2022, we have maintained a save rate of 94% for all animals that have come into our care. We have done this through TNVR of commun

ity cats, providing a pet food pantry for those most in need, offering behavioral consultation to pet parents, and growing our foster network, especially for kittens who are often too young to survive in a shelter environment. Meet Cassie!
This sweet girl came to us in January and she is hoping she will find her furever family!
Cassie is a sweet girl who just wants some love! She loves giving kisses and getting pets. But this spunky girl really likes to play! She likes hopping around the yard to chase toys. Cassie likes rolling in the grass and enjoying the nice breeze. She would like to be the only pet in your home. She is also working on her leash manners. If you would like to meet this adorable girl, you can put in an application today!

Meet Robin!😁
Don't let her slightly crunchy appearance fool you; Robin is one of the sweetest kitties you'll meet! She came into our care July 2026 covered in hardened tree sap and in desperate need of being shaved to remove it, and although her bald spots haven't regrown their fur yet, she will soon be her beautiful and silky self we know she is inside! Robin is a very affectionate kitty who loves to be around people and enjoys being petted and even held. She isn't super big on playing while here in our care, but she is fond of exploring and finding new areas to investigate! Robin enjoys treats, but usually prefers the crunchy kinds over wet food or lickable treats.
Robin is great with other cats. We have not seen her with dogs but think she would do well due to her outgoing personality! She is great with kids especially if they are gentle with her.
Robin is 2 years old,spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Meet Precious!
This happy girls came to us in May 2026, and she is searching for her forever home!
Precious still has a lot of puppy energy, and loves to get all her zoomies out. This sweet girls loves getting pets and giving loads of kisses! She is working on her people manners, but she will still need some help from her family. One of her favorite things has been chasing any toy across the yard and playing tug of war! Precious likes going on long walks, but she can pull sometimes when she gets excited. She is dog friendly, but meet and greets are required. We have not yet seen her with cats. Meet Shemar!
This handsome boy came into our care July 2026 as part of a humane case and is looking for his forever home since! Shemar is what we call a professional bread maker; when he isn't making biscuits, he's dreaming of making more! He enjoys attention and loves to be petted, but does get overstimulated easily. Shemar is a chill cat looking for a quiet home with plenty of cozy beds, cat trees to hang in, and as many treats as he can eat!
Shemar is good with other cats. We have not seen him with dogs, but he has previously lived with them. He is good with kids who are gentle and respect his boundaries.
Shemar is 1 year old, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
