Eight days left to lock your walk rate through 2027.

Start weekly mid day walks by October 31 and your walk rate stays at today's price through December 31, 2027. After that, new walk clients start at the new rates.

You also get the $20 Registration Meeting waived, your weekly slot reserved on the route, and first access to Thanksgiving and Christmas dates.

The slot is the one that runs out first. Our routes are geographic, and the 11 to 3 window on a given street holds a limited number of houses.

The meet and greet takes about twenty minutes and we work around your schedule.

"He needs a pill at noon" is one of the most common reasons people call us.

Not the only reason. But it is the one that turns a nice-to-have into a have-to-solve, because a noon dose does not work if nobody is home at noon.

Same for the dog who cannot do stairs anymore.

Local matters more for mid day walks than for any other service we offer, because the whole thing runs on routes.

A sitter who is already two streets over can get to your dog.

This is the mid day visit nobody plans for.

"She arrived midday to find Champ laying in his crate in vomit and diarrhea, clearly distressed, weak and thirsty. She called me immediately, but could not reach me right away (as I was with patients). In the meantime, she cleaned Champ up, and cleaned up the mess he had made... rather than see Champ left alone, Carol offered to drop Champ at the vet... Champ was fine, by the way. Sharon is a physician and was with patients. Her husband was in the operating room. Nobody was getting home for hours.

If your dog is getting older, you already know the feeling.

You leave in the morning and a small piece of your attention stays home. Did she seem slow today, or was that nothing? Will she make it until six?

That is not you being anxious. That is you paying attention to a dog who has earned it.
A mid day visit for a senior is a different job than a walk for a young dog. Often shorter. Slower. Sometimes it is fifteen minutes outside, a gentle stretch of the legs, fresh water, a dose of medication, and some company.

The part that matters most is that somebody is looking at her on a regular schedule, which is how a small change gets caught early instead of late.

A regular Tuesday on a Main Line walk route.

Nothing dramatic happens in this video and that is sort of the point. It is the same sitter, the same house, the same dog who has figured out what 11am means.

Here's the thing about mid day walks that nobody explains until you are already booked.

It is a route, not a calendar.

A sitter has a four hour window and a set of houses that are close enough together to reach in it. When your Tuesday and Thursday spot is confirmed, it is held. Your dog is on the route. Nobody bumps you.

Which also means that when a street fills up, it is full. We are not going to squeeze in an extra house and shortchange somebody's visit to do it.

That is why October 31 matters. Start before then and your slot is reserved and your walk rate is locked at today's price through December 31, 2027. After that you are working with whatever the routes have room for, at the new rates.
