🐾 Treats are a fun way to reward, train, and bond with your companion, but they should still fit into a balanced diet!

Purina recommends following the 90/10 rule: no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories should come from treats, while the remaining 90% should come from complete and balanced meals. Going over that treat allowance can add extra calories and may contribute to weight gain over time.

Your dog’s ideal treat amount can vary based on size, age, activity level, and overall health, so portioning matters; Even for those extra-cute begging faces. 🐶
