Hey Madison family! How was everybody’s weekend? I myself when on a weekend getaway to celebrate my five year wedding anniversary. So I see that some of you are enjoying the 25% off on daycare this week. I’m glad to see that! Remember that it goes all the way through Sunday! Also a reminder on the Howl-O-Ween costume competition. Meg is chomping at the bit to get the lobby set up for the season. That’s going to be started this week. I think you guys will like it.

Hey Madison family Sean here. A couple of important announcements so stay with me here until the end. October news but no tricks just treats lol.

So we’ve had a good year here at the Madison. Possibly the best since Covid. In short we’ve had the most busy boarding we’ve ever had. All year it’s been busy. Even now during our traditionally slow boarding season we’ve still been filling up on the weekends. Daycare on the other hand has slowed down a little bit. We’re still as busy in the pack due to the extra boarders but I wondered what was going on. The same seemed to be happening with our other locations and then as well with some other daycare owners I talked to. It wasn’t that existing clients stopped coming but that they were coming less often. After getting some feedback from some of those clients, it seems that the economy is the reason and people are having a hard time. This makes me sad for both the pups who have a good time here and their owner for whom we are a Convenience . So, seeing as how we have been fortunate this year I’m in a position to give a little back. For the week of October 11th through to the 17th, daycare will be 25% off.

2) Also along the lines of daycare. We are once again doing our referral program. So, just like last time, for the month of October, if we get a new daycare client that says you referred them, for the next 30 days whatever days they come you’ll also get for free!

3) Lastly, my favorite daycare day of the year is approaching. It’s going to be our 11th annual Howl-O-Ween event! I love this day. For you first timers….we hold a costume competition. Your dogs come to the Madison in costume, we take a picture and post it on our Facebook and Instagram. Whomever gets the most likes in a 24 hour period wins. The prize is a free 5 pack of daycare and a small trophy. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with this year.

Hi Madison family, Sean here. So, yesterday we spent our last day with Eli. For the last eleven years he has certainly been one of our favorites. He’s certainly been one of my personal favorites. There has never been a Madison without Eli and he is going to be missed. Yesterday Eli got all the dog ice cream and treats he could handle. Seeing as how he’s a chubby Bulldog it was quite a bit lol. I’m glad some of his life long friends came out. Winter and Ernie, whom are also dogs that have been here since the beginning and grew up here with Eli came out. I want to thank Chris, and Larry for getting them here and helping to give Eli this last happy and fun visit for our buddy Eli. Eli definitely enjoyed his time with the two of them. Below we have some pictures of the three of them hanging out. I thank all of you who came for the day and brought your dogs to join Eli on his last day. I thank all of you who read this and commented, sending your support to Eli and his parents, Shawn and Mike during this time.
