Morgan was my first rescued afghan hound. She came to me from the Hollywood, California Animal shelter in February 1983 after surviving on the streets of Hollywood for several weeks. She was a senior girl who brought a calmness to my wild 1 year old afghan hound. In 1986 she was diagnosed with Canine Pericardial Mesothelioma. She fought a hard battle but succumbed to the disease after 6 months.
