A million thank you’s to my Kentucky cousins, Jo and Cary, for having this sign made for the farm. My grandmother Louise and her brother - Cary’s grandfather Bob- were born on Summerhill Farm on Old Frankfort Pike in Lexington KY in the early 1910’s. It’s where I fell in love with horses as a little girl and Jo will forever be my first and best equine mentor. It only seemed fitting to name my farm after Summerhill!

Boarding available at Old Frankfort Farm and Stables in Waxhaw, NC. We are a family run small business where the wellness of horse and rider are top priority. My daughters and I are eventers (and pony clubbers) but all disciplines are welcome. Full board only - high quality hay (alfalfa and timothy/orchard), Tribute feed, daily turnout, blanketing, holding for vet/farrier, trailer parking. 12x12 stalls with fans in open, airy barn will keep your horse cool this summer. Outside trainers are welcome and we are conveniently located in horse country of Union County. Brand new fencing and arena. Dogs and kids are welcome! $650

Wonderful productive day at the farm yesterday including assembling our chicken coop with a fabulous crew of helpers! And our peach tree is loaded with fruit - can't wait for them to ripen so we can taste test.
