“I’m sorry… did you just say we’re getting ANOTHER dog? Because I feel like that’s the kind of decision that should’ve gone through me first. I do live here.” 😂

“I was told there would be a spa day. So far, it’s just a bath and no snacks. I’m keeping the towel until management makes this right.” 🛁🐾

Around here, even the treats get a little extra love. 🐾

I made a batch of homemade applesauce treats for some very deserving pups, and I have to say—they turned out pretty cute!

One of the things I love about keeping The Neighborly Leash small and personal is being able to do little extras like this. To me, caring for someone’s dog isn’t just completing a walk or checking something off a list. It’s getting to know them, learning what makes that tail wag, and treating them like one of our own.

Simple ingredients, adorable little paws, and apparently a very successful taste test. ❤️

Hi, I'm Rebecca! Caring for dogs isn't just something I enjoy-it's something I have years of hands-on experience doing professionally.

My background includes working with a nonprofit dedicated to raising and training Labrador Retrievers for service work. During my time there, I worked as a puppy development specialist, dog trainer, and assistant manager, giving me extensive experience caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I actually have my own dog care business and I'm fully licensed and insured.

From transportation, walks and playtime to training and reinforcing good manners, providing enrichment, administering medications, and caring for dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention.

Most importantly, I treat every dog as my own while they're with me.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in experienced, attentive, and loving hands. 🐾😊🐾
