Dutch Country Animal Rescue

Dutch Country Animal Rescue We are a 501c3 approved organization on a mission to rescue and find a safe haven for displaced or abused animals, with foster homes in NY, PA, NJ, MD, & TX.

𝑾𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚! Our vision is for all animals to be given the opportunity to live in a peaceful environment with a warm place to rest their head, proper medical care, a full belly, and to truly know the meaning of love. Our mission is to rescue abused or abandoned animals that otherwise would not have a chance. Most of our rescues come from puppy mills and high-kill shelters around

the country. Our organization is run entirely by a network of volunteers, so all public funds received are used directly for the rescue and care of animals in need. We typically rescue those that need us most; mill dogs at risk of being destroyed and dogs on death row in kill shelters. We can always use your help! If you are interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you! Please send us an email at [email protected].

Princess has her Sunday night routine down! A cozy bed, a comfy blanket, and a few quiet moments to say her prayers before bedtime. May all our rescue pups—and all the pups still waiting—be safe, loved, and dreaming sweet dreams tonight. Goodnight from Princess!

We’re thrilled to share that handsome little Grady has been adopted in New York! Grady’s journey to his forever home wasn’t an easy one. He was found as a stray in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and after the microchip company contacted his registered owner, they declined to reclaim him. Thankfully, he was transferred into the care of Dutch Country Animal Rescue where he was given the love and care he deserved while we searched for his perfect forever family. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Grady’s sponsor, Karen Lizza, for helping provide for his care; his wonderful foster mom, SueAnn, for taking such good care of him while he waited for his forever home and for arranging his transportation; and Aedria, who completed the final leg of his journey to meet his new family. It truly takes a village to get a rescue dog home—and Grady’s village came through for him! Enjoy your new life, Grady! May it be filled with all the love, happiness, and happily-ever-afters you deserve!
