🚨 MISSING CAT — PLEASE HELP US FIND SMOKEY! 🚨 🐾
One of our clients’ beloved cats, Smokey, went missing from Waverly Animal Clinic the other afternoon. Smokey is a large, gray, neutered male cat who is VERY skittish and frightened. He escaped from his carrier while being taken back to the vehicle and ran across the street from the clinic.

📍 Last seen: Across the street from Waverly Animal Clinic
🐱 Name: Smokey
🩶 Color: Gray
♂️ S*x: Male (neutered)

PLEASE DO NOT CHASE OR TRY TO CATCH HIM. If you spot Smokey, he will likely run and hide. Instead, please call his owner immediately so she can come to the area. She is the only person he is likely to approach.

His owners have a live trap set and are actively working to bring Smokey home safely. ❤️

Our Team at WAC is SO excited to announce that we will be giving FREE RABIES VACCINES at our rabies vaccine clinic on September 26, 2026 from 1-5 pm!! We love our community and can’t wait to provide this service.

Here are some details about the event:
🐾FREE rabies clinic will be held at Waverly Animal Clinic at 618 Clydeton Rd.
🐾September 26, 2026 from 1-5 pm (or until we run out of supplies)
🐾Limited (but plentiful!) supply; first come first serve
🐾Free to anyone who would like to have their animal vaccinated!
🐾Dogs only🐶

Check in at the front desk (leave your animal in the car) and follow the directions and signs from there to the large animal parking lot to receive your vaccine. We will have helpers to direct you!

A little fighter with a big story 🐾❤️

This tiny baby came to us after being dropped off and then grabbed by a dog. The owners (who found this baby) rushed the kitten in right away, and at first, things were very concerning. This little one was unable to use his back legs, and there were also worries about whether he would be able to urinate normally.

With lots of love, care, patience, and support from both our veterinary staff and this kitten’s dedicated owners, we are so happy to share some amazing progress! 🥹❤️

This little fighter has started using his back legs again and is getting around so much better and urinating properly! Seeing this baby go from barely being able to move their back end to making such wonderful progress has truly warmed our hearts.

We are so proud of this tiny warrior and can’t wait to see what comes next! 💕🐱🐾
