Waverly Animal Shelter Welcome to the Waverly Animal Shelter page. We are employed by the City of Waverly Animal Control.

Animal Control for the City of Waverly, Tennessee 🐾
Helping keep our community safe by managing stray animals, responding to animal concerns, reuniting lost pets with their owners, and supporting animals on their way to adoption. We respond to calls of animals in danger, roaming strays, lost and found animals, abandoned and owner surrendered pets. We partner with The Humphrey's County Humane Society and our local veterinary offices, to offer these unwanted animals a second chance at life. We work together, to help abused, abandoned, homeless, lost and unwanted animals get the medical attention, food, shelter, water, love and attention they so much deserve. Together with the help of our community and volunteers we are dedicated to finding as many homes as possible for these animals. Humphrey's County Humane Society also offers programs to help offset the costs of spaying and neutering your pet for those, who otherwise, may not be able to afford the full cost. Pet overpopulation is a serious problem, please do your part, be a responsible pet owner, spay and neuter, together we can fight pet overpopulation and save lives.

🐶 3-Year-Old Labradoodle | Handsome, Loving & Ready for His Next Chapter! 🐶
Okay, friends… JUST LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUS BOY! 😍💙 How could anyone possibly resist that face?!
Meet Zoomer, a 3-year-old Labradoodle who is ready to steal someone's heart! This amazing boy came to us alongside his brother after their senior owners made one of the hardest decisions a pet parent can make. ❤️
These sweet owners loved their dogs enough to recognize that, as they got older, they could no longer keep up with the grooming and maintenance that comes with owning Labradoodles. Rather than let their boys go without the care they deserve, they made the heartbreaking sacrifice of letting them go in hopes of finding them homes where they could continue to thrive.
THAT is love. ❤️ They didn't give up on their boys. They gave them a chance at a new beginning.
And what an incredible boy Zoomer is! 🐾
✨ Already potty trained! 🦮 Excellent on a leash! 🥰 Super affectionate and loving! 🐕 Does well with his brother! 🏡 Can thrive with his own loving family, too!
Zoomer and his brother have clearly known love, and it shows in their wonderful personalities. They are the kind of dogs who are ready to walk right into your life and become part of your family. They don't need someone to teach them what love is… they just need someone willing to give it to them again.
While these boys do well together, they do not have to be adopted as a pair. Each deserves a family of his own if that's where the right fit is waiting. ❤️
Now, let's talk about that FACE! 😍 That gorgeous coat, those sweet eyes, and that irresistible Labradoodle charm? We have a feeling Zoomer isn't going to be waiting long for someone to fall head over heels for him!
