In case anyone was following Mabel, we just wanted to share the sad news that she chose to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge while under the wonderful care of Bob's House for Dogs (and cats). She spent her last weeks being spoiled by their volunteers and enjoying the catio. They have a wonderful mission and we are so grateful to have them on our list of partner organizations ❤️💙

We are heartbroken to report that Ms. Mabel passed away unexpectedly late this morning. She was snuggling with some volunteers on the couch not long before we found her. The house moms have a heavy heart today. 💔😢 R. I. P. sweet chatty girl. 🌈

UPDATE: A FB security setting is preventing permissions for fans to add photos to comments. We'll do our best to get it figured out quickly since it's important when people need to share possible sighting on lost pets and other things. Request: As summer comes to a close, staff has been super busy. With making sure the shelter is ready for cold weather, doing our last of the warm weather events, plus making sure all of our residents are happy and healthy, everyone could use an energy boost. The one thing I know gives everyone a lift, is seeing our alumni loved in their furever homes. Please share some photos here to make them smile.

Our thanks to Refurbishing the Soul LLC for the gas gift card that helped make this transport possible! These pups are on their way to a partner shelter. Don't worry, we still have five of them that will be prepared for adoption in a week or so!
