Just perfect
"Another winner from this company. Beautifully made, perfect measurements, swift shipping. it matches Fox Valley leashes we already owned. I use this fixed splitter for a large, strong dog to convert a single leash into a double-clip leash, creating two points of contact along the dorsal strap of a free-shoulders harness. (Harness made by another company.) Easier for me than managing two leashes in challenging environments. In our case, I think the splitter adds some security but also comfort. It connects leash to head and tail ends of the harness along the spine (I do not use the front "chest" clip). This distributes tension, if any, instead of communicating it to just one spot. Useful at this point in our training, when team communication is good and dog's comfort is a priority. Should my loose-leash-walking champ have a rare but epic lunging and barking moment, I slide my hand down the lead toward his back and grasp the entire dorsal section as a handle as we turn to swiftly es**rt him away -- knowing the leash still has two points of contact with the harness. I realize a potential weak point could be the connection between splitter and leash, but the splitter's metal ring is excellent quality and so is the leash hardware (also made by Fox Valley). No guarantees in life, but this has worked well and I feel confident. You might also want a sewn Y-shaped leash for some contexts, of course, for even better stability. I haven't bought one here, but they sell a "Dual-Clip Solid or Reflective Safety Leash" that I wouldn't hesitate to try because their other products have been so well-made with accurate measurements. I do love this splitter for quickly converting a standard leash into a Y configuration. I could also see using it to connect to both collar and harness for escape artists."

I asked for a collar that is thinner that a typical dog collar, and I got that. I felt like the customer when I was dealing with this company, which is the way it should be (Like the seller actually cared about providing a real service and product).
