Nurse Darcy and Veterinary Assistant Emma couldn't resist getting a few photo ops with this little cutie when he came in for a visit! Everyone meet Mr. Wilson Tyler! 😍 He was definitely the highlight of our night. He even helped us write his medical notes—and of course, he earned an A+! 🩵

Mr. Wilson's big brother, Kobe, was also here for an exciting milestone. His 10 week post-TPLO appointment! Kobe was officially cleared on his recheck X-rays to return to all of his normal goofy activities! 🎉

Just in time for summer and of course just in time to keep up with his new baby brother!

We had the pleasure of giving the Waunakee High School Veterinary Science class a tour of our clinic yesterday! The students had the opportunity to see how our hospital operates day to day, ask thoughtful questions, and apply the knowledge they’ve been learning in class in a real-world setting.

A special thank you to our Practice Manager, Pam, and our nurses, Darcy and Ali, for taking the time to educate and inspire these future veterinary professionals. We loved connecting with students in our community and sharing our passion for veterinary medicine! 🐾💜

In honor of Memorial Day, our veterinary clinic will be closed on Monday, May 25th as we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served for our country.

We will reopen with regular business hours (7am-8pm) on Tuesday, May 26th.

If your pet experiences a medical emergency while we are closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

🐾 Happy National Dog Rescue Day 🐾

Today we celebrate the incredible dogs who have found their way from rescues to their forever families!

At our clinic, we see every day how rescue pets bring so much love, resilience, and joy into their families’ lives. Thank you for giving them a second chance at the life they truly deserve!

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, today is a great reminder that countless wonderful dogs are still waiting for their forever homes. 🐶

Dr. Beth and Vet Assistant Emma were so happy to see Cricket come in for her yearly checkup today — and even happier to confirm that she has made a full recovery from her recent surgeries!

A few months ago, Cricket came to Aurora for a cystotomy procedure that Dr. Beth, Nurse Darcy, and Ali performed to remove bladder stones that were causing her difficulty urinating. After surgery, her stone analysis revealed a rare type of stone that is often associated with a liver shunt. This prompted us to do additional testing, which confirmed that Cricket did in fact have a liver shunt.

She was referred to a specialist who successfully performed corrective surgery for the shunt. During the procedure, they also removed her spleen after discovering several abnormal nodules.

We are beyond happy for Cricket and her family. She is the sweetest patient and loved by all of us here at Aurora. Of course, we had to celebrate with a selfie! 🩵

Kobe had a TPLO surgery 6 weeks ago, and he was in for one of his check ups! Kobe is doing AMAZING and rocking his recovery!
