𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱.

There’s a reason these old bloodlines still matter.

Lucky Blanton was a rope horse himself, competing in calf roping, heading, heeling and steer stopping—and generations later, his influence could still be found in horses winning in the roping pen.

Hickory San Blanton carries that legacy through his dam, a daughter of Wyoming Blanton.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

Hickory San Blanton is a 2018 bay stallion carrying the kind of foundation blood that built the American Quarter Horse—Docs Hickory, Peppy San and Wyoming Blanton.
But Hickory isn't standing on pedigree alone.

He’s a 2X AQHA World Show qualifier in the tie-down roping, heeling and breakaway roping, with a 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗔𝗤𝗛𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟮 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗲-𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 and a 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 title in the Open Breakaway at the AQHA Ranching Heritage Finals.

He’s athletic. He’s good-minded. He’s built to last. And he's backed by generations of horses known for doing the same.

For 2027, we're excited to put a renewed focus on Hickory and what he has to offer breeders looking for something that can be increasingly hard to find: 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗹𝗱-𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱.

This 4 year old Hickory San Blanton baby is getting put to work flagging c**ts around the round pen! She’s being rode by a top hand, but you don’t have to be a top hand to ride these babies. The minds on these horses are exceptional. Very proud for the owners and the bloodlines that are proving themselves!
