☀️🐾 Hozier here. Im soaking up these beautiful summer days! A little friend came over today and we had the BEST time playing in the yard. I hope everyone is having a great day too! 💛

Hi, it’s me, Hozy! 🐾

I was supposed to have a photo shoot yesterday with one of my rescue volunteers, but the storms had other plans. 😒 Storms are scary, so I’m VERY happy it’s going to be sunny today! ☀️

I posed for a few pictures for my foster family, but then I decided I had better things to do… like GO OUTSIDE! 😂 I love treats, cuddles, and chasing any wildlife that dares to enter my fenced-in backyard. 🐿️🦌 A fence is pretty great for a guy like me because I LOVE having the freedom to run and explore safely.

I play hard and nap hard. 😴💨 I also get VERY excited when people come over, especially if there are kids playing. I’m still working on controlling all that enthusiasm, so older kids would probably be the best fit for me.

Anyway, gotta go! Someone just said it’s time for my hair brush… and I like to SHARE my hair. 😂🐶💕

Breaking news: Hozier has officially filed a complaint against summer. ☀️🥵

Apparently, “it’s too hot to go on a 2-mile walk” and “you can’t play outside all day” are very unfair rules.

Since Mother Nature won’t cooperate, we’ve been putting that young dog brain to work instead! Hozier has already mastered sit and high five, and he’s currently working on wait and come. He’s eager to learn, takes treats SO gently, and is always excited for training time (snacks may have something to do with that 😉).

His favorite hobbies include:
🎾 Playing fetch
❤️ Soaking up all the pets
🛋️ Professional cuddling
🍖 Accepting treats like the gentleman he is

Hozier is still a younger pup with lots of energy, so he’d thrive in an active home that can keep him busy with walks, adventures, and playtime. Because he gets excited and can be a little bouncy, he’d do best with older children.

Hozier has been waiting so patiently for his forever family. He’s smart, goofy, affectionate, and ready to make someone laugh every single day. Could that someone be you? 🐾❤️

Got a quick walk in this evening with this sweet guy 🐾 Hozier absolutely loves his walks (unless bikes are around — those are still a work in progress 😂). He’s a big fan of stopping to sniff and take in all the important neighborhood updates, but for the most part he’s a decent walker and doesn’t pull much.

He actually seems to do best walking one-on-one because when he’s with other dogs, it turns into a full-on race 🏃‍♂️🐕. A running buddy he is not… mostly because he thinks your shoes are the ultimate toy — even when they’re still on your feet 😂

He’s such a fun, silly guy who just wants to be included in whatever adventure comes next. 💙

Hi friends, it’s Hozier here 👋🐾

I’ve been doing really well in my foster home! I’ve learned that one of the best things in life is getting pets and cuddles — honestly, I think I could make it a full-time job.

Being outside is still my absolute favorite. I love running around, exploring, and playing with all my toys in the yard. I did discover that soccer balls might be slightly oversized for me… but that won’t stop me from trying. ⚽️😂

I also LOVE playing fetch. Throw the toy, I’ll chase it, and then we can debate whether I should actually give it back or not.

And the biggest update: I haven’t had a single accident in weeks, so my foster family says we can officially call me potty trained! 🎉

I’m just a happy guy looking for a forever home with plenty of love, outdoor time, and someone willing to give unlimited belly rubs. ❤️🐶

Hozier soaked up the warm weather today ☀️ though honestly, the cold doesn’t seem to bother him one bit—just no rain, please! He absolutely loves being outside and will happily play fetch… but don’t be surprised when it turns into a full game of tug-of-war instead of actually dropping the ball (see picture in comments 😄)

We’re not totally sure on his breed, but he definitely shows some herding tendencies—he’s especially interested in shoes, even when someone’s wearing them! Hozier is a total sweetheart who loves being pet and takes treats ever so gently 🐾

He’s still on the lookout for his forever home—one with a fenced yard would be a huge bonus for this outdoor-loving guy!

Hi, I’m Hozier… but my friends call me Hozy 🐾

I’ve been working really hard on being the best boy I can be—and guess what? I haven’t had a single accident in over TWO weeks (yes, I’m very proud of myself 😌).

My favorite things in the whole world:
• Running zoomies in the yard 🌿
• Playing fetch (I could do this forever, just saying) 🎾
• Going on walks and sniffing everything (I'm still working on not pulling too much on the leash) 🐕‍🦺

I’ve got a lot of energy (I've still got that puppy energy ⚡️), so I’d love a family that likes to stay active and have fun with me!

A few things to know about me:
• Thunderstorms are kinda scary… I like to hide in the master closet where it feels safe ⛈️
• My tummy is a little sensitive, so I do best with food that agrees with me 💛
• I’m also a professional napper—after all that playing, I need my beauty sleep 💤
• I can be a bit selective with other dogs, especially larger ones. They can be intimidating, so small to medium sized dogs would be great, or being an only-dog would fly, too
• Sometimes I can get overwhelmed and stressed in hectic situations (e.g. bunch of people coming over all at once to say hi). Older kids would probably be a better fit.

I’m a sweet, playful guy just looking for my forever home. If you’re ready for adventures, cuddles, and a loyal best friend… I might be your pup!

A note from my foster family: Hozier is very loving and loyal dog. He just needs patience, reassurance and a calm environment to build trust and confidence. We don't know much about his past, but he responds really well to gently but firmly deescalating a hectic situation. We are loud with our senior dog because of his hearing issues and Hozy will go and quietly sit in a corner 🤦
