I loved teaching today's clinic so much! Great people and great horses! There is a huge amount we can do to help our horses on the ground and today we just scratched the surface. I cant wait for the next one. And peep Nova working with our friend Derrick! He recently lost his horse that we all loved dearly. I was happy to have him borrow our sweet Nova girl! 🖤

I have one more personal horse than I really should time wise (and sometimes financially 🤪). I struggle to give them all attention consistently. But then I remind myself that all their real needs are met and they are happy and healthy. The other stuff is mostly for me. Although everything I do with them I try to have be beneficial for them they dont absolutely need it. And with so many horses not safe in good caring homes I remind myself these guys get to be safe forever and thats part of doing my part.

This guy has gotten some consistency the last week or so. We ride in the arena for 5 minutes a night (its so amazing what 5 minutes can do). And then he has gotten to do some out of arena adventures 3 times (2 mounted). Each time he improves. He's such a big personality that wants to be involved. After our little hack today he had fun following the ball that Blake and Chad were dragging. It was his idea to follow it so I let him be curious. I look at and approach horse training so differently now and Im loving the results 🖤🤎

We had our first out of arena ride today!!🎉

We hand walked our mini trail behind Jami and Tonka this morning. This afternoon we rode the wooded part of the mini trail behind Dillon and Chad. He was SO GOOD!

*Hes basically a 4 ish year old training wise in a 16 year old horse body 😅 he sat for many years previously

Im a lucky girl. Ive been able to swim with horses before and I've always loved it. Its been about 15 years since the last time I was able to swim with my horse Bach. Ive been wanting to swim with my horse Jake for a couple years now and thanks to some friends we made it happen. We had SO much fun and he was an overall angel. Perfect to haul. Ponying one of the horses who was having a hard time. And then playing in the water with me. Such a perfect day with ponies and friends 🩵💙
