We currently have two more adoptable girls through our Save A Life program!!
Cowgirl:
She is 14 weeks old and is vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP. At this time she is too young to be spayed.
Cowgirl's name fits her well. She loves climbing on things and playing with Bella. She can be skittish at times but loves head scratches and treats once she warms up to you.
Cowgirl has not shown a problem with dogs but is not around them enough to tell is she would be good with dogs but does get along well with other cats

Bella:
Bella is a little over 6 years old, fully vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP and spayed.
Bella is super affectionate and will come right up to people to get attention. She can even be a little talkative.
Bella loves head scratches, a good cat nap, and treats.
Bella is not a big fan of dogs but does get along with other cats and spends her days hanging out with Cowgirl.

We are looking for a passionate, team-oriented Part-Time Veterinary Technician Assistant to support our growing, state-of-the-art practice. No prior experience required—just a deep love for animals and a positive attitude!

What You’ll Do:
-Restrain patients safely
-Prepare exam rooms
-Support veterinary technicians
-Maintain facility cleanliness

We are wrapping up our vaccination awareness this week with Feline Leukemia. Also seen as FeLV.
This vaccine is reccomended to for outdoor cats as they are more suseptible.
The kittens can get it around 10 weeks old and once boostered it is good for TWO YEARS.

Apart from rabies the FVRCP vaccine is somthing we reccomend all cats have as it protects against a number of infectious diseases.
Kittens can get is around 8 weeks and is boosted every 3-4 weeks till they reach 16-20 weeks old!
After that it is good for one year and then three years after the first inital year.

We reccomend the lyme vaccine for all dogs in this area due to the high amount of ticks.
Bordetella is somthing we tend to reccomend for dogs that are around other dogs more frequently especially if they go to grooming, daycare of boarding.

Welcome back to the last week of vaccination awareness week!! Today we are going over not 1.....but 2 vaccines as (insert drumroll....) they can be mixed!!
These are both part of the core vaccines we highly reccomend getting!
Distemper and Leptospirosis vaccines puppies start getting around 8-10 weeks old and are boostered every 4 weeks until 16-20 weeks of age! After the puppy boosters it is good for one year and then after that DISTEMPER is good for 3 YEARS and LEPTOSPIROSIS is good for ONE.
These two can be mixed into what we call DHLPP that is able to given when both are due at the same time.
Get your dogs protected today!! 🧡💙🐾
