KD Sport Horses in Watertown, WI is looking for experienced equine help for both weekday and weekend afternoon shifts. Start time is approx 3 pm and usually takes about 2 hours, can vary shorter or longer dependent on number of horses and weather. Start time can be flexible for local after school hours as well. Stall cleaner/Entry Level Position available

Full time entry level, salaried, equine facility and support position at KD Sport Horses in Watertown WI. 6:30 am start in the winter months , 7 am start in the warmer months. This is mostly a cleaning and facilities position but is the place to start in the equine industry if you are not independently wealthy yet have the drive and determination to make it a career. Great work environment, but it is hard work. 20ish stalls daily, feeding hay outside, ability to drive equipment ideal, but can train. Must be able to move and manipulate 70ish lbs regularly, must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Tons of learning and development opportunities for the right driven individual. Consistent hours.

KD Sport Horses in Watertown WI is looking for additional weekend help. Must be able to regularly do both morning and afternoon shifts, so close proximity to Watertown is helpful. Morning feeding starts at 6 am. Turnout starts around 6:30. Saturday morning chores take until about 10:30 am, Sunday morning chores take until about noon. Afternoon chores start at 3 pm and take about 2 hours, all hours can vary depending on number of horses and weather.
We are also interested in long term Sunday stall help, which would include 20+ stalls to clean and little to no handling. However, equine handling experience is preferred for other chore positions and willing to train the right individual, great environment, must be reliable and willing to work in and out of barns in all weather conditions. Biweekly payroll, so must be legal to work in the US and must be at least 15 years old with reliable transportation. Please PM for wage and additional information, comments may not be followed.

KD Sport Horses in Watertown, WI and home of Stowaway Hunters and Jumpers is seeking a full time salaried barn manager position, includes some chores/stalls, feeding, turnout, and turn in, etc. Riding opportunities for the right individual. Grooming and other contract work available. Liveable wage for the area, board discount if you have your own horse. Equine experience, reliability, general understanding of the industry, ability to work independently and with others, and communication skills are a must.

KD Sport Horses in Watertown, WI is looking for 3-4 shift options for qualified and interested individuals. All shifts require dependable transportation and reliability. Bi-weekly payroll so must be legal to work in the US and must be at least 15 years old.

Shift A-weekday and weekend morning availability, hours are approx 6 am-8:30am, more hours could be available to motivated individuals.
-responsibilities included feeding and turning out so equine experience is necessary, additional hours would include more chores and some stalls
-must be able to work independently

Shift B-Fri, Sat, and Sun morning availability, hours are 7am-end of responsibilities (Fri/Sat approx 10am ish, Sun 12pm ish)
-responsibilities include turning horses out, barn chores including some stalls.
-must be able to work independently and with others

Shift C-weekday and weekend afternoon availability, hours are 3pm-end of responsibilities (can be as early as 4:30 or as late as 6pm depending on number of horses and weather)
-responsibilities include bringing horses in, checking waters, feeding, and other barn related chores
-must be able to work independently and with others

KD Sport Horses is looking for weekend chore help. AM and PM shifts available. Equine/livestock experience ideal, but willing to train. Morning chores start at 6:30am, you will be working outside and in heated/warm barns. Morning chores include stalls. PM chores start about 3 and take 2-2.5 hrs in the winter. Update and completion. Both horses have found new homes, and we wish them and their new people the best of success in the future.

Updating as there has been a right on mid fours offer on the 2023 Filly and continued interest. Taking offers or buy immediately at asking prices. 2023 Bay Westfalen Filly by Carrasca Z out of a super sweet WB/TB cross mare. Could go in any direction, very social and personable, fantastic personality. Straight out of the field and ready for her next chapter. UESF lifetime. Lowest of fives to get immediately obo by Oct 31.

2016 Bay TB Gelding (Ice Box x Banking on Candy) has shown TB classes and up to 1.10m. Wicked athletic. Requires an experienced handler! He can be a great horse but he needs a good hand on the ground, sedation for farrier/shoes, thrives in a program. Not your first horse type, but will jump anything if he trusts you. EXPERIENCED HANDLERS ONLY. Has been out of work for almost a year, body has benefited from time off but no riding trials. USEF available on request. Lowest of fives to get immediately obo by Oct 31.

Both horses are available immediately for asking or will go to best offer if received by 11:59pm Oct 31, 2024. No riding or trials, but will happily schedule viewings. Backed board is owed, all processes have been followed to make for a quick and uncomplicated experience on buyer end, need them off the payroll. KD Sport Horses in Watertown, WI has an immediate opening for stall and chore help as we are building more stalls and continuing to grow. Great atmosphere and flexible schedule. Weekdays we are looking for the extra person to help clean stalls, weekends we are looking for someone with equine or livestock experience to help turnout/bring in and also assist with daily chores. Great position for someone wanting equine experience for vet tech or similar programs. Great position to make a little extra money with free hours during the day. I did the thing. The flappy coat thing. Thank you to Sydney Carpenter for allowing me to be a part of Samson’s development and show career. Our first USHJA National Derby at one of my favourite horse shows. It’s a blast to present him to the world. Huge thanks also goes out to Mark Aplin none of this would be possible without you.
