💔🐾 Poor Benji is back at the shelter… and this is NOT where he wants to be. 🐾💔

Our sweet old man Benji is back with us, and unfortunately, he is not a happy camper. 😢 This boy doesn't want to spend his days in a kennel. He wants to be curled up on someone's lap, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. ❤️
Benji is going on 11 years old, and at his age, he deserves peace, comfort, and a place to call home. His previous foster had nothing but wonderful things to say about him and described him as the perfect little boy. 🥹

❤️ Now, we need everyone to understand something very important about Benji.
We have received SO many applications for him, but unfortunately, many of those homes have cats.

🚫 BENJI CANNOT LIVE WITH CATS. 🚫

As much as we appreciate everyone's interest, this is not something we can make an exception for. We know what Benji needs, and we want to make sure his next home is his LAST home.

Ideally, we would love to find him a quiet home with no other animals, where he can be someone's whole world. A home where he can spend his golden years being spoiled, sitting on a warm lap, and getting all the attention his little heart desires. ❤️

He's almost 11 years old. He shouldn't have to keep adjusting to new places, new people, and new routines. He deserves stability, love, and a family who will see him through the rest of his years.

🥺 Surely there's someone out there who has an empty lap and a whole lot of love for this little old man.
