National Pet Memorial Day is a meaningful time to remember the pets who have brought love, comfort, and joy into our lives. The bond we share with pets stays with us long after goodbye.

Today, we honor the memories, pawprints, and special moments that made them part of the family.

As summer winds down, it’s a great time to check in on your pet’s overall health. Seasonal changes can affect routines, activity levels, skin, coat, and comfort.

A wellness check-in can help pet owners stay proactive and make sure pets are feeling their best as a new season begins.

Meet this handsome boy, Perry! 🖤
This sweet boy is looking for his forever home! He is a very affectionate kitty and loves humans and would love a family to call his own. 🐾
He is a 10 month old neutered male. Up to date on vaccines.

One important thing his future family should know: he previously experienced a urinary blockage. Because of this history, it is highly recommended he remains on a prescription urinary diet to help reduce his risk of future urinary problems. His new family will need to be committed to keeping him on his special diet and monitoring his urinary health.

He is good with other cats. As for dogs, he is not currently the fondest but we think he will adjust well to having a dog roommate!

If you or someone you know is looking for a beautiful boy kitty with lots of personality, give us a call!! 🩷

Accidents can happen at any time, whether pets are at home, outdoors, or traveling. Knowing basic pet first aid and keeping essential supplies nearby can help owners feel more prepared.

A small pet first aid kit with bandage materials, tweezers, medications, and emergency contact information can make a big difference when quick action is needed.

National Wildlife Day is a reminder to respect the animals that share our outdoor spaces. While wildlife can be fascinating, it’s important to keep pets at a safe distance from unfamiliar animals.

Keeping pets leashed, supervised, and away from wildlife helps protect both pets and local ecosystems.
