Well, look who’s been busy finding themselves a new address! 🥹❤️

These furry faces are officially off the adoption floor and beginning their next chapter of life. No more waiting for someone to notice them. No more wondering when their person will come through the door. They’ve got families, couches, beds and all the love that comes with being home!

To every family who adopted this week, thank you for choosing one of our shelter animals. Thank you for making room, taking a chance and giving them the kind of happy ending we hope for every single day.

And if your favorite face didn’t make this week’s post, don’t worry… they’re still here waiting! 🐶🐱 Every adoption makes room for another animal who needs us, which means there are always more happy hellos waiting to happen.

Puppies and kittens get a lot of attention. We get it. They’re adorable! But our seniors need you too!

Lorelei, Stealth, Pudge, Londyn and Resputia have already spent years becoming the wonderful animals they are. They know how to love. They know how to appreciate a comfy bed, a good meal and a person who makes them feel safe. And they’ve all found themselves in the position of needing a new home.

RIDDLE ME THIS…💙🐾

What do you get when you combine four little paws, a soft grey coat and a playful purrsonality?

Riddle!

At just 2 months old this little boy has a whole lot of growing up ahead of him. He may be small now, but Riddle has a lifetime of adventures ahead! He’s ready to find the family he can grow up with.

If you love German Shepherds, you’re going to want to meet this girl!

Sasha is a 4 year old female German Shepherd who arrived at the shelter just two days ago. She’s been nothing but sweet with everyone she’s met here and we can’t wait to help her find her dream home!

Sasha has lived with dogs and children before and is known to do well with both. She’s a big, strong and beautiful girl with a sweet personality to match. She loves getting attention and she’s been an easy girl to spend time with.

She’s still getting settled in and we’re learning more about her every day but so far Sasha has given us plenty of reasons to love her! We have a feeling she’s going to have no trouble finding her people. ❤️

We have more animals who need us than we are able to accept! And right now, we need more foster families to help change that.

Fostering means opening your home to an animal who needs a little extra time, healing or growth before they’re ready for their forever home. You provide a safe place to land and in return you get to watch an animal become the best version of themselves! ❤️

Every foster home that helps gives us space for one more animal. You become the reason we’re able to say “yes, we can!” when an animal in need comes through our door.

🐭 Have you ever actually gotten to know a mouse?

Maybe it’s time to become a mouse house! Hunter, Sin and Dien are three 6 month old boys who are ready to show someone just how much love can fit into a tiny package.

These boys are very well socialized for their age. They’re curious, busy and funny little things who can learn to know their person and become wonderful companions. Mice don’t need to take up a whole lot of space in your life to become a big part of it.

If you think you could give mice a try consider adopting! Hunter, Sin and Dien are just $5 each.🏡

Thank You For Your Patience 💖

We know many families are waiting to surrender their animals and we want to say thank you! It means a lot that you care enough to reach out, follow the proper process and make sure your animals get safe placement.

Right now we’re caring for 128 animals. Fifty eight are in foster homes waiting for kennel space so they can come in and begin their own adoption journey. With numbers like that, openings come and go quickly. Some days we have a few spots. Other times we go weeks without a single kennel opening. It all depends on adoptions and the needs of the animals already here.

If you have an animal you would like to surrender, please continue following our usual process. Call us at 10:00am Tuesday through Friday. Any space we have each morning is saved on a first call, first serve basis. This helps us make sure every animal who enters our care has the room and attention they deserve!

Thank you for your patience, your kindness and your understanding. Our staff is doing their very best every day to help everyone we can and your compassion makes a meaningful difference for the people and pets in our community.

Meet Eagle, the cat who’s always fishing for love!🦅❤️

Eagle is a 6 year old male with one bright green eye and one scarred eye that shows how resilient he is. He’s been with us since June 28 and has since spent every day since reaching those big fluffy paws of his between the bars of his kennel door like he’s fishing for a family who will love him.

He’s amazing with people. Sweet, social and always ready for attention! It's unknown if he meshes well with kids and dogs, but he does want to be your only cat. If you want a cat who loves you with his whole heart, Eagle is ready!

💙Pets for Patriots qualified. Approved members get a $100 discount on his adoption fee!

🐾 POV: You came to a winery and accidentally met your new best friend!

Pudge is spending the afternoon at today’s Classic Car Cruise In and he has already been making himself right at home.

On the way here, he tried his very best to eat the rain out of the car window 🌧️ and was a very good sport about being picked up for the winery’s photo cutout which ended up being the perfect place for a little photo session. 😂

Now he’s here waiting to meet you! And the best part? Pudge is FREE to adopt. ❤️

At 10 years old, this handsome guy deserves to spend his golden years with someone who will love him for exactly who he is.
