Y'all, I'm asking for some prayers right now. 🙏❤️

As if we haven't already had enough going on, the restoration crew came out today, and unfortunately, the water damage to our home is far more extensive than we originally thought. 😭

We have spent countless hours, long days, and sleepless nights trying to get this house remodeled and ready to sell. So much hard work has already gone into this place, and now we're facing even more damage, more setbacks, and more things that have to be redone.

And because apparently we can't have just ONE thing go wrong at a time, one of our sweet puppies went to the vet today because she was supposed to meet her potential forever family, and we found out she has a UTI. 😭 So now we're dealing with that on top of everything else.

I'm exhausted. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. It feels like every time we get a little closer to the finish line, something else happens that knocks us backward.

I'm trying my hardest to stay positive and remind myself that God has a plan, even when I don't understand it.

So please keep our family in your prayers. Pray for our home, pray for our sweet puppy, pray that everything works out, and PLEASE throw in an extra prayer that I can keep what little sanity I have left! 😂😭

I'm holding on to my faith, but goodness gracious, it's being tested right now.

At this point, I don't even need everything to go perfectly. I'd just appreciate a few days where absolutely NOTHING else goes wrong!

One day at a time. One mess at a time. And a whole lot of praying in between. ❤️🙏

🐾❤️ LIFE HAS THROWN US A MAJOR CURVEBALL — AND I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP FINDING MY PUPPIES THEIR FOREVER HOMES! ❤️🐾

I honestly don't even know where to begin. As if we didn't already have enough going on, life decided to throw another huge obstacle our way.

Last Thursday night, our hot water heater busted at the bottom, causing extensive water damage to three bedrooms, our laundry room, half bathroom, and hallway. 💔

And the way we discovered it is something I keep thinking about, because things could have been so much worse.

Around 2:00 in the morning, one of my sons heard my youngest son's phone going off repeatedly. He got up to go into his brother's bedroom to turn it off, and that's when he walked right into all the water!

Had that phone not been going off, there's no telling how much longer that water would have continued running before we discovered it. As awful as this situation is, I'm incredibly thankful he got up when he did. 🙏🏼❤️

And of course, my husband was out on the road working, so it was just me and the kiddos trying to handle everything in the middle of the night. 😭

As many of you know, we've been working tirelessly remodeling our entire home to get it ready to sell. I'm talking months of work, countless late nights, painting, cutting, building, repairing, and trying to get everything finished.

We were FINALLY getting so close to the finish line.

And here's what makes this situation even more heartbreaking.

One of the bedrooms that flooded was already completely finished, and we had been using it to store all of our completed remodeling materials until we were ready to install everything.

That room held:

- 107 boxes of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring
- All of our flooring underlayment
- All of our new baseboards
- Our bedroom doors
- Cabinet doors and molding
- All of our door trim and casing
- All of our window trim
- And so many other materials and supplies

So much of that wasn't just purchased material sitting around waiting to be worked on.

The cabinet doors, window trim, door trim, baseboards, and other pieces had already been worked on, finished, and were ready to be installed where they belonged.

Hours upon hours of sanding, painting, cutting, preparing, and making sure everything was ready for the final stages of this remodel.

Everything was sitting in that bedroom, organized and waiting for the new flooring to be laid so we could finally start putting the house back together.

And then, in the middle of the night, water was everywhere.

Thankfully, NONE of our 107 boxes of flooring or any of our underlayment was damaged! 🙏🏼❤️ That is one HUGE blessing in the middle of this nightmare, because replacing all of that would have been absolutely devastating.

But now we're left sorting through everything else, figuring out what's salvageable, what needs to be replaced, and what work will have to be done all over again.

It's not just the money. It's the TIME, the energy, the exhaustion, and the amount of work we've already poured into this house.

If you've ever remodeled an entire home yourself, you know exactly what I mean. There are only so many hours in a day, and we've already pushed ourselves so hard trying to get everything finished.

And now, because of the water damage and necessary repairs, we're having to move out of our home for approximately TWO MONTHS. 💔

That's two more months of delays before we can hopefully get back on track with finishing the house and getting it listed for sale.

With our family, our dogs, our puppies, and everything else we have going on, this has created an incredibly difficult situation.

❤️ WHICH BRINGS ME TO WHY I'M MAKING THIS POST.

I currently have SEVERAL puppies still searching for their forever families, and with us having to temporarily move out of our home, I really need to find these babies loving homes AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

These aren't puppies that have been sitting in a kennel somewhere waiting for someone to notice them.

They've been raised right inside our home, surrounded by babies, children, other dogs, and all the everyday activities that come with a busy family.

I've poured countless hours into raising, loving, socializing, training, and caring for each one of them.

They are wonderful babies with their own unique personalities, and they deserve families who will love them just as much as we do.

I don't want them having to go through the stress of being displaced and having their routines completely turned upside down along with ours if I can help it. 🥹❤️

But I want to make something VERY clear.

Needing to find homes quickly does NOT mean I'm going to send my puppies just anywhere.

I will never compromise their well-being just because our circumstances have changed. I still want to know about the families interested in them and make sure they're going to loving, committed homes where they'll be treated as part of the family.

However, if you've been considering one of my puppies, NOW would be a wonderful time to reach out.

And if you're not in a position to welcome a puppy into your home, I'm asking you from the bottom of my heart to PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! 🙏🏼❤️

You never know whose timeline it might reach. The perfect family for one of my babies could be just one share away.

I'm not asking for sympathy, and I'm certainly not trying to make anyone feel obligated to adopt a puppy.

I'm simply trying to do what's best for my babies while navigating a situation that has completely turned our lives upside down.

Please, serious inquiries only. ❤️ I completely understand that circumstances can change, but right now I really need families who are ready and able to move forward.

I know God has a plan, even when I can't understand why everything seems to happen all at once. I'm trying to focus on the blessings in the middle of this mess.

My son woke up and discovered the water before it could continue running all night. Seriously thought he was messing with me when he said "Mom our house is flooded" None of our flooring or underlayment was damaged. Our family is safe. And although we're facing another setback, I know we'll get through this, too. 🙏🏼❤️

🖤🐾 A LITTLE UPDATE ON OUR SWEET FORTUNE! 🐾🖤

Our handsome little Fortune has some exciting things happening! 🥹❤️

Fortune is officially RESERVED until he meets his potential new mama tomorrow! 🖤

And if everything goes as we're hoping, this sweet boy will be heading to his new forever home in Birmingham, Alabama! 🏡❤️

Fortune has been patiently waiting for his special someone, and tomorrow just might be the beginning of his forever story. 🥹

He's such a loving little guy with the sweetest personality. He's smart, curious, confident, and has just enough s***k to keep you laughing. But underneath all that personality is a little boy who absolutely LOVES being held, cuddled, and spoiled with affection. ❤️

I always get a little excited and emotional when one of my babies has a potential family coming to meet them. I've watched them grow, learned their personalities, and poured so much love into raising them. Seeing someone fall in love with the same little soul I've loved from the beginning is such a special feeling.

Of course, nothing is official just yet! We still have to see how tomorrow goes and make sure it's the right fit for both Fortune and his potential new mama. ❤️

But I'm definitely saying a little prayer that everything works out exactly as it's supposed to. 🙏🏼

From our home here in Tennessee to a possible new beginning in Birmingham, Alabama… could tomorrow be the day Fortune finally meets his forever person? 🥹🖤

Keep your fingers crossed for our sweet boy! 🤞🏼🖤

These little gremlins are both incredibly affectionate boys and absolutely love children, they are alot alike but they definitely have their own personalities.

🖤 Jukebox is currently 18.4 lbs. He has a little more manners than Pickles 😂 and seems to understand his limits a little better. He knows when enough is enough and when it’s time to stop and settle down. He’s very affectionate and laid-back and absolutely loves kids. I think he would do wonderfully in a home with or without children, although he definitely enjoys being around them.
Jukebox is also the more curious and adventurous of the two. He likes checking things out, exploring, and seeing what everyone is doing. He’s laid-back, but he has a little more personality in the sense that he wants to investigate and experience things. ❤️

💚 Pickles is currently 15.8 lbs. He’s my super laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. He can be a little stubborn sometimes 😂 and gets a little more hyper and silly than Jukebox during playtime, but he knows when it’s time to calm down and settle.
Pickles is also extremely affectionate and loves kids. He would do perfectly fine in a home with or without children, but he definitely enjoys being around them. Overall, he’s just a really chill boy who is usually happy to go along with whatever everyone else is doing.

One thing I really love about all of our pups is that they aren't timid or afraid of every little sound or commotion. I do a lot with them when they're young puppies to expose them to different sounds, noises, surfaces, and everyday situations. They’ve been raised right in the middle of our home around babies, kids, other dogs, cats and normal family chaos.
And lately they've gotten some extra real-world sound desensitization whether they asked for it or not. 😂 I’ve been remodeling our entire house, so there has been A LOT of commotion—power tools, banging, drilling, things being torn out and moved around, people coming and going, and all kinds of loud noises. None of our pups are timid about it or afraid of every little thing. They’re pretty accustomed to life happening around them. 😂❤️

As far as grooming, both boys do well with baths and really don't mind them. They just don't LOVE bath and grooming time quite like Strawberry Milkshake does. 😂 The dryer is definitely their least favorite part. They aren't crazy about it at first, but they do settle down and let me finish drying them. They've been introduced to bathing, brushing, grooming, clippers, and the dryer from a young age, so it isn't something completely new to them.

They were born May 4th and are estimated to mature around 15–35 lbs. Based on where they are now, I don't expect either one to be a large dog.

🍓🥤 STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE 🥤🍓💕

I just don't understand how this sweet girl is still here waiting for her family. 🥹❤️

Strawberry Milkshake is one of our Mini Goldendoodles, born 5/4/26, and she is currently 19.4 lbs of pure sweetness with just enough sass mixed in to keep you laughing. 😂

She has such a calm, more reserved personality, but once she loves you, she LOVES you. ❤️ Her absolute favorite thing is cuddling and being close to her people. She is incredibly affectionate, eager to please, smart, and genuinely enjoys learning new things.

And this girl LOVES kids. 🥹

All of my puppies are raised right in the middle of our family—around babies, kids, dogs, noise, chaos and everyday life. Most of my puppies are actually required to go to homes with children because being a true family companion is such an important part of how I raise them.

And unlike her brothers... Milkshake actually enjoys being groomed. 😂🙌🏼 She loves that one-on-one attention and is perfectly content being pampered.

She's past that tiny baby-puppy stage, so her personality is really showing now. You aren't choosing a tiny puppy and wondering who she's going to become—I can tell you exactly who this girl is. ❤️

She's loving.
She's gentle.
She's cuddly.
She's eager to please.
She's wonderful with children.
She's got a little sass.
And she's waiting for someone to choose HER. 🥹🍓

I truly believe there's a reason some puppies stay with us a little longer. Sometimes their family just takes a little longer to find them.

So I'm asking my friends to help me out—SHARE this sweet girl. Her person may be sitting on somebody else's friends list and simply hasn't seen her yet. ❤️

🏡 I’ve Been a Little MIA… But There’s a Reason! 😂

If you’ve noticed I haven’t been posting nearly as much lately, actually I haven't posted anything 🤣🤦‍♀️ but I promise I haven’t disappeared! I have been DEEP into remodeling our house and it has pretty much consumed every spare minute I have. 😂

But I can FINALLY see the light at the end of the tunnel! 🙌🏼
I’ve officially made it to the master bedroom and master bathroom, and once I get those finished, I’ll have all of the flooring and baseboards left to do, along with a few odds and ends throughout the house.

And then… SHE’S GOING UP FOR SALE! 🏡🤎

It has been a LOT of work, but seeing everything come together has made it so worth it. This house is going to look completely different by the time I'm finished, and I cannot wait to finally share the finished result.

So if I've been slow posting puppy updates, answering comments, or sharing our everyday chaos, this is where I've been. 😂 Bare Earth Companions is still here, the dogs are still spoiled rotten, and Emerald & Fortune are still patiently waiting on their people. 💚🖤

Also, if anyone is looking—or knows someone looking—for a home, keep your eyes open! 👀 Our house will be hitting the market as soon as I finish these last projects. If you're seriously interested, feel free to reach out to me privately and I can share more information.
We're getting SO CLOSE! 🙌🏼🏡

Now somebody remind me when this is over that I said I was never remodeling another entire house again. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

💚🖤 Emerald & Fortune are still searching for their furever families!
These sweet boys were born 2/25/26 and are Micro Mini Goldendoodles, expected to stay around 8–12 lbs full grown.

At this age, their personalities have really blossomed, and I can honestly tell you who these boys are—not just guess who they might become. They are both incredibly loving and absolutely LOVE being held, carried around, and close to their people.

And can we talk about those coats?! 😍 Both boys have gorgeous soft, wavy coats, and when they’re freshly groomed and blown out, they get so nice and fluffy! They really are beautiful little boys.

💚 Emerald 8lbs - is loving, incredibly smart, eager to please, and loves children. He is such a little doll baby and would happily soak up all the attention his family wants to give him.

🖤 Fortune 9lbs - is confident, smart, curious and playful, with just the right amount of s***k. He loves being held and cuddled just as much as he loves having fun.
I’m honestly surprised these two are still here, but I also believe sometimes there’s a reason a puppy waits a little longer. Their families just haven’t found them yet. 🤎

Yesterday, our family lost a truly special man. 💔

There really aren't enough words to explain everything Jerry—our Pa—meant to this family or how far his influence has reached.

To Joey, he was simply Pa. He was more like his dad, his role model, his hero and one of the biggest influences in molding Joey into the man he is today. Pa and Granny played such a huge part in raising Joey, alongside his parents, and the lessons Pa taught him have followed Joey throughout his entire life.

If you knew Pa and Joey, you already know—when you saw Pa, you saw Joey. When you saw Joey, you saw Pa. They were together. That was just how it was. ❤️

And when I look at Joey's life now, I realize just how much Pa was preparing him for a future Joey couldn't possibly have known was coming.

At only 19 years old, Joey stepped into the lives of my three children and became a dad. He was young and had no clue how to be a father to three children.
But somehow... he did.
And the more I think about it, the more I realize Joey knew more about being that kind of dad than he probably ever realized—because Pa had already shown him exactly how.

Pa taught Joey through his actions that being a dad isn't defined by blood. It's showing up. It's staying. It's guiding, protecting, teaching, loving, and choosing those children every single day. It's becoming family because of the love you pour into someone's life.

Pa showed Joey what it meant to love and raise a child as your own. Then, years later, Joey took those lessons and became that man for my three children. ❤️
I don't know if Pa ever realized just how important those lessons would become in Joey's life, but I do. And I will forever be grateful to him for helping mold the man who became such an incredible father to my children.

Today, Joey is one of the most giving men I know. He loves hard, works hard, gives freely, and would give someone the shirt off his back. He's an amazing dad and an amazing Papa, and so much of the man I get to call my husband was shaped by the man Joey called Pa.
And now I get to watch that legacy continue.

When you see Joey, you'll most if the time see Hunter—but if you see Joey, you can almost guarantee you're going to see our grandson Eli. That little boy is right there with his Papa. ❤️ And every time I see them together, I can't help but think about Joey and Pa.

When you saw Pa, you saw Joey. Now when you see Joey, you see Eli.
That's a legacy. That's love and example being passed from one generation to the next.

Joey wasn't the only person Pa had that kind of impact on either. Pa's brother had so much more than a brother in him. Pa was more like a dad to Keith. My heart especially hurts for Keith and his family because he's lost not only his brother, but someone who filled that father role in his life as well.

Pa was so many things to so many people. He was a husband, He was a dad, He was a significant other. He was a brother. He was Uncle Jerry. He was Pa. He was a father figure, a role model, a hero and a friend to many. Every one of those titles represents someone whose heart is hurting today.

Pa fought one heck of a battle, and he fought hard. As heartbreaking as losing him is, there's comfort in knowing his fight is finally over. No more hurting. No more fighting. And I can't help but think about him being reunited with his loved ones. Knowing how much they loved one another makes that thought a little sweeter in the middle of so much sadness.

Pa didn't just leave memories behind. He left a legacy.

You can see it in Joey. You can see it in the children Joey helped raise. You can see it in Hunter. You can see it in little Eli. You can see it in Keith and in so many other people whose lives Pa touched.
Please keep his kids, his significant other, Keith and his family, his sisters, Joey, and every member of Pa's family and everyone who loved him covered in prayer. There are so many hurting hearts right now, and each one is grieving a different relationship with the same very loved man.

Rest easy, Pa. You fought hard. You loved your family, you showed up for people, and you helped mold some incredible men. You may never have realized just how far the lessons you taught Joey would travel—but they're still being passed down today.

Now go Rest High On That Mountain❤️🙏

You will be loved, missed, talked about quite often, and remembered for generations to come. **What you poured into this family didn't leave when you did. It lives on.**

🐾 PLEASE READ BEFORE INQUIRING ABOUT A PUPPY 🐾

I really hate having to make posts like this, but I need to say something.

I had someone scheduled to come tomorrow to meet my available Micro Mini Goldendoodles and choose her puppy. Because she wanted to meet them before deciding, I kept TWO of my males available for her to choose from without requiring a deposit.

Today—the day before she was supposed to come—I received a message saying they had changed their mind about getting a puppy at this time and would not be coming.

Please understand that this doesn't just inconvenience me—it can actually hurt my puppies' chances of finding their forever homes.

While I was waiting for this family to come choose, I kept those two boys available for her instead of actively trying to place them with other interested families. I did that because I took someone at their word and wanted to give her the opportunity to meet them and choose the puppy she connected with.

That's time these babies can't get back.
I completely understand that circumstances change. Life happens. And honestly, I would MUCH rather someone decide they aren't ready for a puppy before bringing one home than make that decision afterward. I will always respect someone for recognizing that.

But PLEASE—do not reach out about one of my puppies unless you are genuinely ready to bring one home.

Talk to your husband or wife. Talk to everyone in your household. Make sure everyone is on board. Know your budget. Think about the responsibility. Make sure the timing is right. Make sure your landlord allows dogs. Have those conversations BEFORE asking me to hold a puppy, keeping puppies from other families, or scheduling a visit.

These aren't items sitting on a shelf.
They are living, growing babies that I have poured an incredible amount of time, love, work, money, and my whole heart into raising. My responsibility isn't just to find someone who wants them—it's to find them the right forever family.
And every week matters.

I know several people have reached out about these boys while I was waiting for this appointment. When I tell someone a puppy is pending or that another family is coming to choose first, that family may move on and find another puppy. So when someone cancels at the last minute, it doesn't simply open that puppy back up—it may mean an opportunity for that puppy has already been lost.

This is also exactly why I have a deposit policy. I've tried to be understanding and make exceptions because I completely understand wanting to meet puppies before choosing. I want my families to feel confident about their decision! But situations like this make it very difficult for me to continue holding puppies or taking them off the market without a deposit.

I'm not angry because someone changed their mind about getting a puppy.
I'm frustrated because two of my babies lost valuable time being shown to families who may have been ready to bring them home.

So please, before you message me—be ready. Make sure your household is ready. And if you schedule a time to come meet one of my puppies, please understand that I'm trusting your word and planning around that commitment.
My time matters, but more importantly, my puppies and their opportunity to find their forever homes matter. ❤️🐾

And with ALL of that being said...

🐾 My TWO sweet Micro Mini boys are AVAILABLE again! 🐾

They're still waiting for the families God has planned for them, and hopefully this post helps those families find their way to me. ❤️🙏

Serious inquiries only, please.
