The clinic was started in a turn-of-the-century cream city brick house on Market Street. As time passed, due to the excellent care he and his staff provided and the compassion shown, Dr. Scott rapidly outgrew the space. After several years of looking and planning, In 2015, Dr. Scott bought a new building located at 301 West Spaulding Street where the clinic has continued to grow and thrive. In 201
8, after much thought and reflection, Dr. Scott decided to scale back and sell the practice. At that time, Gentle Healer joined a network of other privately owned practices called Animal Wellness Centers. Dr. Scott now works a day or two per week and has shifted the daunting burden of carrying on the legacy of Gentle Healer Pet Clinic to Drs.
