Happy 🐾❤️ Featuring one of the best girls, Kola 🥰 I really want to photograph more black dogs! I love the way their fur picks up highlights and little drops of color from the surroundings!

🐾 Did you know black dogs are less likely to be adopted and are one of the most common, if not the most common, colors you’ll find in shelters? Some are superstitious, others pass over them for “pretty colors or patterns” and some are more scared of them because they can look more serious. I personally find them so striking and a lot of them have the most soulful eyes 🥹❤️

This past weekend was rough on my heart ❤️‍🩹 This year has definitely been full of a lot of goodbyes and it never really gets any easier. I am forever so grateful of the time I get to spend loving fur babies 🥺

Polly (aka Polly Sunshine) was the sweetest girl who loved nothing more than a nice sunny day, a walk and some fetch ☀️ I’ve walked Polly for almost 3 years on a weekly basis and we have spent countless hours on walks and playing together. In the spring we would pick flowers, in the summer we would play in the pool, in the fall we would watch all the leaves fall together and in the winter she would catch snowballs to her hearts content ❤️ she had the best spins ever and an enthusiasm for mealtime that could only be rivaled by the best. I’m already missing your little snorts when you would get up for our walks 🥺❤️ I love you Polly Princess and I know you finally get to play fetch and run to your hearts content again. Thank you for all walks and love, no matter the weather, no matter the day, just our little regular adventures 🐾

Enjoy the many faces of that cute girl catching the ball and may it bring you even a fraction of the joy that she shared with me in our days together 🐾

Beyond ecstatic to share that my double exposure of Toby was a nominee for the open category 🤩 I can’t wait to continue to play with my creativity and double exposures more. I feel like I found such a cool space to create in and I’m working towards sharing that more ❤️ congrats to all the amazing winners of Dog Photography Awards® and thank you again for the recognition amount so many amazing photographers! My other entries for people & pets as well as outdoor are at the end too. Time to keep creating 📸🐾

Sophia and her mom were such a treat to photograph 🥹 I felt so honored that her mom took the time out of their last morning together to spend time sharing stories with me and loving on her gorgeous girl. Sophia’s dad couldn’t be there (as much as he would’ve given anything to be) so it was very important to me to capture all the tiny things about her to love ❤️ the little eye brows and cheek markings, her precious smile, and both of their gorgeous brown eyes 🥹 She was an incredibly gentle soul and the best big sister to two little humans.

The time I get to spend getting to know these amazing humans and fur babies means the absolute world to me. thetillyproject really added a whole other level of love for pet photography ❤️‍🩹 the people who care for dogs through their toughest days are by far the most loving human beings I’ve ever seen.

I have been so consumed with photo sessions and regular work I haven’t had the time to post some of the beautiful pets I’ve been photographing ❤️ I’ve done a couple EOL sessions this past month, forever showing love for thetillyproject and deeply grateful to connect with pet parents who love their babies dearly.

Simpson immediately stole my heart with his GIANT paws and sweet puppy dog eyes 🥹 I was lucky enough to get to meet him the evening before he went to rest. Talk about a boy surrounded in love ❤️ his family, and especially his mama, truly gave him a life full of so much love and joy! Simpson even had a beautiful “wife”(the gorgeous silver lab) and fathered 2 litters in his lifetime. The handsome Dudley lab is their son! He got to grow up alongside his human brother for pretty much their whole lives and the bond between those two was so precious. Watching families say goodbye is so hard, but I feel so lucky to get to witness such love between humans and their companions 🥺 Simpson was absolutely surrounded with nothing but love and capturing that amazing smile and soulful eyes was such a gift. I know you’re resting and watching over your family buddy ❤️ you are so missed and loved 🐾

When Letti and I went to the beach for her birthday, we of course HAD to do a birthday photoshoot 🥰 Letti is one of the best doggy models! She does sometimes think the shutter sound means come here 😂 but truly such a beautiful and photogenic girl!! She had to sport the beautiful bandana I got her for her birthday from and she looks so beautiful with her little orange flowers 🥹 There’s also a few at the end of her kitty sister Kiki 🐾

Letti may be 12 now but she’s truly one of the most athletic and magnificent dogs 🤩 she plays harder than most dogs I know and is one of the mentally quickest dogs I’ve ever know! Her mom started her on and I’ve gotten to see her flourish even further 🥹 watching senior pets gain all the comfort and mobility from actual SUPPORT is one of the most amazing sights ❤️
